POLITICS: VOTERS MOVE TOWARD OBAMA / MCCAIN’S ‘WILLFUL IGNORANCE’ / PALIN’S SHOPPING SPREE
Thursday, October 23, 2008

The latest Pew Research Center findings show religious voters are gradually gravitating to Barack Obama as their pick for president. Obama is also leading McCain 51-42 in the latest Gallup poll which tracks the percentage of registered voters who say they would support each candidate if the presidential election were held today.
With a few states already voting early and the U.S. presidential election occurring in less than two weeks, look out for Concrete Loop’s upcoming Voting Etiquette Guide.
MCCAIN’S ‘WILLFUL IGNORANCE’

On Tuesday, Barack Obama said that John McCain offers little more than “willful ignorance, wishful thinking, outdated ideology” to the economic crisis.
“While President Bush and Sen. McCain were ready to move heaven and earth to address the crisis on Wall Street, the president has failed so far to address the crisis on Main Street, and Sen. McCain has failed to fully acknowledge it,” Obama said at a jobs summit in Florida.
Obama said that McCain’s to the economic crisis doesn’t offer enough to those worried about their jobs, homes and lifestyles:
“Instead of commonsense solutions, month after month, they’ve offered little more than willful ignorance, wishful thinking, outdated ideology.”
PALIN’S SHOPPING SPREE

According to Politico, the Republican National Committee has spent more than $150,000 to clothe and accessorize Sarah Palin and her family since John McCain picked her in August.
The McCain-Palin campaign released a statement: “With all of the important issues facing the country right now, it’s remarkable that we’re spending time talking about pantsuits and blouses. It was always the intent that the clothing go to a charitable purpose after the campaign,” said McCain-Palin spokesperson Tracey Schmitt.
What’s ‘remarkable’ is how stupid this is, especially during a financial crisis, writes Marc Ambinder.
It wasn’t too long ago that John Edwards caught grief for his $400 haircut, but it would have taken him over seven years of getting one of those haircuts to spend what Palin has spent.
Perhaps Palin should put the shopping sprees on hold and find out what it is that the vice president actually does.

McCain is not using Tax funding (public funding) Remember that big thin about Obama not taking Public funding. If McCain were taking public funding he could not use fundrasing.

oh yea forgot.
Remember the people on the bottem cheat too. like claiming other peoples kids, not adding all income, working under the table. People are going to cheat. You can tell when a company is on the up and up because when thing get rough in the States, taxes get to high, the move out of the country. i.e. W C Bradley in GA. Because they dont want to be punished because some companies are doing the wrong thing.
What I find really funny is the fact that people who have the smallest amount of money spend it on Jordan, strippers, Prada, BCBG, bling and Lil Wayne CD’s, when they could put that money on a visit to the dentist or on a health care payment or even in a college fund. But no maybe Palin 150K is more important. Silly me for not worrying about what someone else is doing with their money. I like to watch my own dollars

@ Bobbi
Correction in my post. I meant to say the RNC not McCain. McCain is taking Public Fund, and that is why he could not raise fund starting in October. Which is consider General Election time. ( After the primaries ) Sorry about. I know I’m going to get jumped on for that one but since I already voted doesnt matter.
