Lets Not….let not even start, Erykah, is bug-eyed. Now bug-eyed women are eccentric, but not everyone’s cup of tea. I’ll take the Pepsi Challenge with any Bug-eyed girl you can name against the marvels of Serena. Erykah is made for radio. Her voice is sweet, but her style (or lack of) is a joke and her body, leave much to be desired. She often dresses herself strangely obviously because she’s not comfortable. Serena isn’t trying to impress anyone, YET she’s getting the so-called heart throbs that the women want. Let’s ask ourselves why?
Hmmm as a man, I would have to say it’s the body. Take away the wondersful spirit and personality the woman has and line her up with most celebrity women and it’s NO CONTEST. You know that “man-ly” body that most of you hit your boyfriends for admiring? Yeah, that one. She can dress it up, or to my delight dress it down, but she is the ultimate accessory for the Best Dressed man, a fine ass(ed) woman. Why would anyone hate on Serena? I mean no thanks, no man I have ever met is admiring her body. All I have ever heard is she looks like a man and that they prefer soft and feminine bodies like J-Lo or other curvy but womanly looking chicks. I think big, less attractive women feel better when they see Serena because they feel there is hope for them. Sorry, Serena looks like a dude. No amount of ass can make up for that. I think Treasure and no id summed up what I was going to say. We claim that we like women with meat on their bones. That’s the lie we keep pushing when we criticize white beauty, but then the moment a black woman has some of that authentic body shape going, what do we do, she’s too fat, she’s too manly, she’s too this, she’s too that. Wow, I am not American born but I am black. As I sit back reading these comments, I notice a terrible fault amongst us. Why do we always tear each other down? So what Serena is not attractive by your standards? Do you really think she is cares or worry about what anyone thinks? As black people we tend to identify only persons with more European features such as complexion, hair, body size as what’s acceptable. I know I am straying from the subject at hand but I also see how some people are quick to call others such as Usher’s wife Tamika names. Tamika is also a beautiful black woman but it seems as if because she does not have all the European feautures then she is not good enough. Wow!!!
