Check out the official first single from 50 Cent from his forthcoming album, Before I Self Destruct. The new album is due out December 9th, just two weeks after Kanye West’s 808′s & Heartbreaks releases. I don’t know, I’m a little on the fence about this new single. It’s not near as catchy as those first singles that 50 usually drops. But there’s always a method behind his madness. The track is reportedly produced by Scott Storch. Good thing too, because Scott Storch hasn’t been getting a whole lot of work as of late. At one time, you couldn’t get away from his sound on the airwaves, but he’s slowed up a bit.

Wow! A new single from Keyshia Cole already? And featuring 2Pac? I don’t know, at first, I wasn’t really feeling the song, but after a few listens, it has grown on immensely. It has a really old school feel, and it actually feels more like something from Keyshia’s first album, The Way It Is, which I loved so much more than her second effort. “Playa Cardz Right” could be a good single for her if she works it right. The song is the first single from Keyshia’s third album, A Different Me, slated for release December 16th.
♫ Timbaland feat. Missy Elliott & T-Pain – Talk That Shit (full) – listen
New music from Timbaland, with a more urban feel. On his last album, Shock Value, Timbaland experimented with more pop sounds, but it seems like he’s going for some more urban sounds with the new album, Shock Value 2. Even though I’m not really too thrilled with the track, I am happy to see that Timbaland is working with Missy Elliott again, because there were some rumors that they wouldn’t be working together anymore. Hopefully Shock Value 2 will be as great as the previous project.

“Sick of It” is a bonus track from Michelle Williams’ new album, Unexpected, which hit stores yesterday. I really like the production on this track, but of course I do, because it sounds like Prince. “Sick of It” is a pretty good song, but I can see why it didn’t make the initial cut of the album. I think this osng appears on international version of the album, and you can download it if you cop the album from FYE music retailers.

Love Keyshia, LOVE LOVE LOVE Tupac, so “Playa Cardz Right” is an instant hit for me. I’ve never heard it before, so it’s new to me. If this was on Pac’s Life, why did they make Ashanti’s “Pac’s Life” the first single? I have the CD, but I’ve never listened to it all the way through.
I have a HARD TIME listening to Tupac, because I’m still in mourning (yes all these years later) and still missing him.

Keyshia you are my girl…. Big Talent for such a little person. The single is not new, it had a debut on 2pacs album. This one has been remastered…The version I have is much much better….. I hope all the 2pac fam appreciate it, because this girl blew the hell out of the hook on the original version.
