After Melanie (Tia Mowry) confesses to Derwin (Pooch Hall) that she is still in love with him, Derwin shocks her with the news that Janay (guest star Gabrielle Dennis) may be his baby mama. Kelly (Brittany Daniel) enlists help from her obnoxious parents, Bren and Nick (guest stars Lee Garlington and Don McManus), to keep Jason (Coby Bell) out of her life. Meanwhile, Malik (Hosea Chanchez) is freaked out about his mom (Wendy Raquel Robinson) finding out that he married Robin Givens. The Memphis Grizzly’s Rudy Gay makes a cameo appearance as himself.

I was wondering if you guys wold mention The Game’s 3rd season premiering tonight, and I’m so glad you did. Everybody Hates Chris premieres tonight as well @ 8/7 central. CW is dead wrong or not promoting either of these shows. It’s obvious they want these shows to fail. I hope their ratings won’t suffer because of it this season.

II am sorry but Gossip Girl and 90210 do not hold my attention like The Game. There really aren’t many black shows to choose from right now. I will definately be watching.

The Game is the business! Love this show, and yeah it gets no promotion from the CW. I hate to pull out the race card, but how else do you explain it? I did not even know it was coming on this evening. Thank you Concrete Loop for hooking a sister up with this info. I will be watching.

@ 24. Actually The Game used to get great ratings, but THE CW kept changing their time slots and not promoting the new ones. It’s getting old. I mean, I didn’t even know they changed to Friday until today. Not to mention, they haven’t even updated it on their website.
Not to mention that all of the other shows on the station are up to their fifth episodes and this is the only first!
#9, I can’t even front, I love 90210, too. I am a big fan of The Game. Loved the guy that plays Jerome since he was in ‘Glory Road’.
Wow I just watched tonight’s episode and well it was def action packed.. melanie trying to be a trooper through all of the drama.. i know if i could have stayed knowing the possibility of another woman.. so akwardo lol with the ex too. only wished they gave us a sneak peek of this season.. not to mention kelly drama and parent lol

The games ratings have not been higher than 2.7 on a monday night ( this is a prime night) compared to 90210 (4.7) The nights were changes because the CW was getting spanked by all the other networks. Yes even CBS. Not to mention the law suit which is small news in Tv againts the show. The show was awarded the highest rated African American show for the 2006-2007. But we must remember that the Cw is really the only station carrying Network African American shows. Now of course the CW is looking for a way to end The Game as they were looking to lose All of Us. Kind of like UPN wanted to get rid of Eve even before the the CW concept came about. Girlfriend was eating up alot of money with not a lot of return. ( No big name ads) not that many people were watching girlfriends as we may think. So that show killed itself Budget wise. They are not going to get the population of 90210 or gossip girl. The Game needs to revise it target group if they want the viewers. They need to get Web viewers to watch to show CW the show is watchable but needs to move to another night. So yes you are right those two new shows you mention are keep CW in the numbers game right.

I’m not gone front I LOVE Gossip girl…lol, I LOVE The Game too and I think its pretty messed up that they moved it to friday nights. First was mondays than sundays and now fridays. They know nobody be in the house on friday nights. The game and everybody hates chris are really the only two GOOD black shows we have left on television. Lets support them and continue to watch. I’m still mad as hell they took off Girlfriends like that.

Tia Mawry urks me for some reason. The Networks need to hire new-fresh faces for their Sitcoms. The Mawrys’ totally played out with that stupid Sister show that was out back in the day. Although, I will support the show if it is interesting.
