The video is ok. I see she wanted to show of her dancing skills eventhough she is not a trained dancer. Lol, and I do not want to see any of these moves being jacked on the dance floor at the club, cause I’m going to laugh. She’s not stealing moves from Ciara, but from Tina Turner. Google an old Ike and Tina performance to catch that one. If I were a boy was has a more creative concept as a video. That I will give her props for. I hope her album is worth downloading cause Single Ladies sounds too much like her other songs with repetitive hooks. Just my opinion the writer for If I were a boy BC Jean voice is more suited for this song. Bey needs to soften her tone just a bit, she comes on too strong. Ah what the heck, I’ma do my part to get this up to #700! lol! Video was sick! This was my first time hearing the song also. I don’t know what everybody is talking about. I didn’t really like “Get Me Bodied”, but I’m feeling this song and video a lot more than “GMB”. I guess I can appreciate this video more then some because I grew up in the 90’s. When videos didn’t have as many distractions as they do now. There was more focus on the artist or group. The style of this video fit the song. It didn’t have to be in a club atmosphere for it to work. This is one of those videos where if you were about to go do somethin’ and this came on, you’d stop what you were doing just to watch. Even if you had seen it already. Keep up the excellent work Beyonce!
