I don’t like this song at all, but I appreciate the video. It seems to pay much respect to diana and the supremes along with a mixture of old madonna…not the new madonna stuff. The dance steps are nice and her choreographer did a great job with it. He must be a choreographer for HBCU cheerleaders. I heard that many HBCU’s hire professionals for their moves. That explains why southern women like Beyonce and southern HBCU cheerleaders be killin it. Much respect goes to BEE cause trust me those steps take much patience and endurance to learn so you can’t hate.

People and thier obsession with comparisons are beyond crazy. First off both ladies are great at dancing and dance two completely different styles. Ciara is more like a street dancer/ freestylist. Beyonce is a more choreographed dancer. Both are great ways to dance so I don’t understand why one must be better than the other. If you are artistic you would learn to appreciate both styles and both women.

This video is sooooo horrible. It’s just a bunch of dancing–mediocre dancing, at that—and we have all seen that from Bee!! Her dancing is nothing new. I can get better action watching “Dancing with the Stars” I had to stop the video after 2:30 minutes because it was making me dizzy…and as female, i don’t want to watch 4 minutes of Beyonce dancing in circles. The fellas should like it because of her great body…but ill say “Next.”

Hey Brian is your friend the choreographer, the one who choreogrraphs Virginia State and Hampton University? The jet setting and whole routine is exactly like theirs and I was told they have professional chorepgraphers that make them so great.

I like videos that go along with the song so this is leaving me less than enthused. The dancing is not the problem…the lack of a story line is. I think the dancing would have been okay if there was a plot to mirror the lyrics.

I LIKE THIS VIDEO………….it’s hott, I love the concept just a simple dance video
“no extras” no collabo with Jay-,( even though Jigga is MY DOG!), no cameo by so and so, no pointless break in the middle of the song, no pointless intro in the beginning. It was very simplistic and SEXY which is hard to do. I also love that it is in Black and White B is taking it back to the late 80’s /early 90’s era with the dancing. I didn’t think I would like either video because I was disappointed with some of the tracks on B-day (i’m not a stan, but i enjoy her music)

BUT because I think she actually took her time to really focus and think about which musical journey she was going to take with this album…….well the proof is in the pudding. “If I were A Boy” makes you think about the issue in relationships between a male and female, and Single Ladies makes you want to get up off your thang and dance!!! Concrete Loop.. FYI > Single Ladies ( Put a Ring On It) was choreographed by JaQuel Knight and Frank Gatson . Frank discovered JaQuel at a audition for Michelle Williams ” We Break The Dawn” video and knew he would be great to co-choreograph Beyonce’s new video.
Beyonce really enjoyed working with JaQuel. Everyone had a blast, because Frank has always wanted Beyonce to do choreographed video from head to toe/ non stop/no cuts like the Fred Astaire days..

I think her dance movement and her voice were good, but her music is the same. There’s nothing different. I think her music is for a younger generation (under 21). She is pushing 30 and need to make more mature music. As she gets older, it going to be time out for shaking and wearing reveiling clothes to prove a point that you got it. She’s a pretty girl and got a nice voice,but she is going to have to change her style as she gets older. She is the it girl now, but all of that will fade. I would like to see her move to the direction as Celion Dione or Toni Braxtion level as she gets older. She has the voice and the fans. I am not taking about fame or money wise.
