Ciara debuted her new video for the T-Pain-assisted “Go Girl” on BET’s Access: Granted. The song is Ciara’s first single from her third studio album, Fantasy Ride due out late this year or early ’09.

LMFAO @ “T-Pain-assisted”….. I ain’t gonna lie though.. T-Pain’s beats be off the chain and this beat isn’t any different… but when he opens his mouth it’s enough to ruin them.
Am I the only one who thought it was funny when the song paused and the motor bike failed at letting out flames from the back(right after T-Pain’s verse)??? I swear to god that was hilarious.
The video is very creative but it really doesnt do justice for the song. I dnt care what anyone says, ciara is gonna have to come harder than this to get my money. To be honest I still feel like she had single’s on the evolution, you cannot deny that cd was a hit.
Well now Miss CC is bringing back entertainment in vidoe’s, these days video’s are about what they have, the houses, the cars, the posse, the borrowed diamonds and we feed into it and do nothing to entertain me. CC just showed all the rappers and singers how to put the entertainment back into a video and make people buy an album not just based on the song but on the visual, i loved this there has not been a video this YEAR aside from Alicia Keys super woman that has made me sit up and take notice. YOU GO GIRL!

After all the drama from the Vibe cover mess, I’m happy to see Ciara back on top. Anyone who thinks she didn’t “do tha damn thang” in this vid is A HATER and FULL OF SH*T! “Yes” the vid isn’t original (looks like japanese rock vids and asian horror) BUT she did this VERY WELL. My only problem was the dancing. “Yes” the dancing w/ nice BUT if you really wanna do something different as female dance artist… try dancing like a guy. Guy artists always get the most acrobatic stunts along w/ intricate pop-lock combos and I don’t think its fair that us females have to look like strippers when we dance in a vid. That’s not cool. Besides that concern, “two thumbs WAY up” and I’ll still let Cici hit lol! Oh and too all the ppl hating on the song, I’ll admit I don’t really like the song (especially w/ T-Pain’s overrated, wannabe rapping ass) BUT I’m also not the ppl boasting Pon De Forehead’s singles like they are the Messiah either. So if you fit into that group…. stop faking and re-evaluate! Just a thought lol…

I’m surprised the song is getting such mixed reviews. I actually had to give it a few listens to get into it. When I did though I thought it was hot I love it T-Pain produced his ass off. The video was everything the choreography the attires her swag. I thought the dances were off the map it didn’t remind me off anything she did before. I saw someone say it was a mix of everything she did before I don’t see it. I have seen all her videos and I can’t say I have seen any of her routines resemble. Aside from maybe the Matrix she does but hey ain’t nobody else doin it she ain’t even do her booty bounce lol. Yea I see big things for CiCi she brought it to me atleast.
Yea and since she has been brought up Beyonce’s “Single Ladies” is garbage. That track from what I heard was weak aside from the u should put a ring on it part. I also heard “If I Were A Boy” it was alright I dug it more then the other still weak for Bee. I was expecting alot more.

^Lololol I think it’s hilarious I inspired not one but 2 shout-outs. First of all it’s not that serious… for the record I can STAND Ciara… she’s a pretty girl who can dance… she just CAN’T sing get over it! Also, since you mentioned Madonna… no she is not the best singer in the world but she sounds like herself, as does Britney and they are the first of their kind so you have to credit them where it’s due. Janet plain can’t sing but she gets her props for being a pioneer and holding it down when no other black female was. Ciara for all intents and purposes has been done already, some of her music is Ok but that’s down to her producers not her. Lastly, I’m glad you mentioned Aaliyah because she’s the only one you referenced who could sing acapella. Rhianna is a pop puppet/sensation who knows her place and is enjoying the ride… no-one is hailing her as the SECOND COMING of great talent but she’s as good a vocalist as the next pop puppet. Ciara just doesn’t have a any kind of voice and to me that’s unforgiveable… and just so you know neither do I think Janet’s been able to sing but her status comes as much from being a Jackson as it does from her day job.

When the first part of the video came on, I couldn’t even hate, I was like, this is hot. She totally jacked Janet’s Japanese inspired image in the video, but it was working really well. I loved the suit, hair, makeup, and her bakcground dancers. The whole dark white theme, odd empty office, those crazy splits and dance moves, special effects… but the shit fell off quick right after the first scene! LOL at this wackass video. It looks like a Janet Jackson knock off! WTF happened? It only had 2 scenes and was very low budget. She looked like a damn fool in that robot costume. That outfit was not sexy and the robotic moves made her look retarded!
I never really paid attention to the lyrics of the song but when I did, I was like WTF? The lyrics are a little nasty and unecessary. She’s trying too hard to sell sex, plus the song itself (the beat) is sooooooooo corny! The last part of the scene was too “CiCi.” She showed no growth whatsoever. I think Ciara is the type who appears to have “IT” at times, but really doesn’t take it to the next level or keeps the growing. She will fall off after this album.
