He’s been getting on my nerves this past year, but I was willing to let that go, since I’ve generally liked his music. Damn, this track is a letdown. The video made up for it I suppose.

Kanye West is one m***af*****g GENIUS!!!! The video is pure brilliance. It is very simplified and spohisticated in a contemporary setting. I think his mother’s death has inspired his music in many immense ways and his music now has a more darker, philosophical, and somber tone.

I love the African dancers, and very few artists can pull off (and/or) straight up BITE T-Pain’s vocoder, (although T-Pain is not the first person to use it either and NO he did not invent it), so I think Kanye pulled it off. I can’t wait for November 25th, 808 and Heartbreaks will be amazing!!!

I always knew I understood him and I still do now. At first I thought “WTF” and then I remembered the Stronger MV and he took the vibe of the song and transplanted that into the concept of the video. He did the same thing now with this video and it works. It fits his video aesthetic and style. He’s consistent so I love it.
