I don’t understand why people say she wasn’t promoted well. i mean, considering that half of the music channels have turned in REALITY TV havens, that fact that she was on MTV twice, BET, I saw a commercial, she made youtube videos….I mean damn, i don’t what eles she could have done. I guess she needed a few magazine interviews.

She looks so natural and pretty in this video. I like her hair too! She’s so thin now, I wonder what happened to her. If anyone can remember back in ther early Destiny Child days, she was thicker, but then over the last couple years she’s gotten extra thin. O well, I still like her despite low record sales. She can really sing, I didnt find that out really until I seen her perform her old song “do you know” live and the DC3 concert, she blew me away and from that point, I gave her much props. Keep doing yoru thing Michelle!

You all need to stop blaming her management team for her poor album sales, she has been all over TV and radio promoting her album for months! She is just NOT a big draw like Beyonce. Let’s face facts here!

I was really rooting for Michelle to do well but everything she does is just so damn boring to me. I only watched the first 30 secs of the vid but i get the point…ok Honestly i would have perfered the chasing after the male concept to this cuz it just didn’t work for me.

But Matthew DID push her album back way to far, the album should have been released WAY earlier, in like May, just after her first single. Music World has no idea how to manage mutiple acts right.

Michelle said on tv that Beyonce doesn’t get involved with them artistically. They listen to each other songs, but they don’t tell each other what to do, or where to go.
And what other artist besides Beyonce has released 2 songs…come on now???

Please tell me wassup with pop music and videos today. The way videos are sold today are through cute clothes and beautiful people, from Michelle Williams, to Ciara, to Rhianna, and the even “the Queen of the all” Beyonce. Where is the innovation? Where are the story lines and genius cinematography? All we do when we watch videos now is wish we had the wardrobe, which is said. But we do live in a consumer culture. Just saying that this and all other videos are boring. The only one who comes close nowadays is Janet but she gets kicked in the ass.

Never been a fan of Michelle’s vocal. The song is kinda boring…so is the video. I’m not surprised that her album only moved 14k units, when I heard the album review on the CL, I pretty much knew what the outcome would be. To be honest, aside from any future DC reunions, I don’t think Michelle will have longevity. She is way too boring. She can’t dance, can’t entertain, and she doesn’t have the “it” factor. You can NOT be successful if you don’t have @ least one of the three. And unfortunately for her, Beyonce has all three qualities, and them some!
After this flop of an album, hopefully, she’ll go back to making gospel music. It’s one market that’s not being dominated by any specific artist.

Michelle should have stuck to gospel and Broadway and when is Solange releasing the video to T.O.N.Y.? I hate to admit it but when she does it will overshadow both Michelle’s and her sister’s videos. It has the potential to be a great video…saw stills from it.
