Man Tupac was gone from us too soon. Just like Tupac, so was Marvin Gaye, Left Eye, Biggie, Jimi Hendrix, Billie Holiday, Aaliyah, Dorothy Dandridge and so on…
They were all gone so soon & died of such tragid deaths. Feel free to add to my list loopers. But its so sad, its like they were here, left some good music, great messages, some struck up controversy, opened doors…and then they were gone, just like that. I wish i had a chance to have met Tupac before he was killed.

Good Points: Video was different and sexy. Nice hook. Loved the video.
Bad Points: Her verses were forgettable and not catchy at all. I can’t remember anything she said. Good songs you sing the versus and the hooks all day long in your head. I will not be singing this. Trust!

@ shoediva this song was on Pac’s Life Tupac latest posthomous album and it was my isht then tho i felt Keyshia coulda did something more in depth with her verses instead of repeating it twice but hey whatever she looks nice in the video and I like the fact that she choose this as a single to remind Jigga, Lil Wayne and whoever else is calling theyself the Best Rapper that Tupac is still the BEST dead or ALIVE!!!!!

I love this song and it gets more play than that get me bodied pt 2 out her anyway. Tupac was and is the best rapper. one of the best rapper turned actors this man would have lyrically killed those who claim to be the best. Jay-Z and Wayne included.

This song was hot… what 2 summer’s ago and the video although I see she trying to get her grown and sexy on and she look great but … its sucks..

I teared up seeing Tupac. It was a good look having Afeni in the video. And it would have been a better video to me if she just would have stayed in the studio. I guess “A Different Me” is supposed to be the sexy Keyshia Cole? It didn’t work for me in this video, but I love Keyshia, so I’ll support no matter what.

No offense to Lil’ Wayne but he can do better, The Game in my opinion is the only one that still has a slight reminisces of Tupac (in some of his songs)

Okay Firstly, so love Keyshia’s transition!! Her image has definitely evolved. But why in the hell did Manny {her manager} let her TRY to dance on that beach scene?! She should have stood her @$$ still and lip sung like she did in Heaven Sent The moves and the skimpy bikini were not her swag!! And I did not like the scene jack from Beyonce’s Upgrade U, when she was in the back of the car. I like this song, it’s a nice one to chill and relax to. The video is alright. The beach scene was awkward with her dancing lol, but her make up was really pretty.

@42-She did know Pac. I remember reading one of interviews where she said she met him when she was 14 at a studio in California. She sung for him, and he said that she would be a star, and sure enough he was right.

They are trying so hard to do to Keyshia what Beyonce’s people did to her - just tell us she’s classic, an icon (Keyshia a hood one in this instance) and have that be a self-fulfilling prophecy. No. Keyshia can do and say what she wants but I will judge each new release and if it isn’t good, it isn’t. Mary J Blige was in the music biz for years before she became the icon she is, you just can’t make Keyshia that so soon. This song is okay…I don’t know why she’d sample a song released after Tupac’s death but whatever.

It’s funny how some people on hear say she really knew Pac like they really know that she knew Pac. I know she from Cali but damn ya’ll how do ya’ll really know. This reminds me of Master P when he made a song about Pac when he passed.(lol) Didn’t even know him. It’s all good though Keisha at least you do have his moms in the video. You get my respect for that.

Keyshia looks really nice in the video, But I’m not really feeling the song and the video had a very dark undertone to it, but the song gave off a summery feel. Nice to see Ms. Shakur in the video

I like the song, but I think that dancing is not one of her strong points so she needs to avoid it at all times. She has lost a lot of weight in the gym going hard and I think that she wanted to show it off with the sexy scene. I respect her because as sexy as she is she could be like other people and show ass and tits, but she uses her talent instead.

Great to tribute to PAC, THE GREATEST OF ALL TIME. I love Keyshia, she’s one of the few real singers we have but I just don’t know if it’s strong enough for a lead single. I’m coping the album when it drops anyway. I know she has other great songs for the album and the vocal work will be on point!
