Honestly, I think this is some of her worst work to date..In my opinoin Beyonce’s music has gotten worse with each solo album. Lately all her songs sound the same and I think people keep her relevant just for the sake of who she is not for her body of work. There are far better artists out right now..and I think if another artist was to come out with some of the stuff Beyonce has been doing lately it, people wouldn’t think anything of it, but because she’s Beyonce people automatically jump on it.

No i’m not a hater, like I said before I used to really enjoy Beyonce’s music and I do appreciate her work ethic. But this is poor quality music and I will only be buying 2 or 3 songs off of Itunes tomorrow.

Even though there are times where I don’t understand some of the decisions Beyonce makes as far as her career is concerned I can appreciate them as well as her. It is her dream to be a legend, internation icon, and shes working towards that. Whether you like her or not, think she’s vain, you have to respect her hustle. I like the album and the direction she is headed right now. I do think that there is a little bit of beyonce over saturation going on right now but again respect the hustle. Go Big or go home.

Since all of the information on this site is directed as supplying information, that is what needs to be communicated here.

HOWEVER….I love to visit the site daily to make sure I am on top of the latest and greatest. I don’t mean to be offensive at all. I just wanted to offer constructive criticism.

That being said, here is my opinion of the album:

Who is Sasha Fierce? More importantly, who is Beyonce Knowles-Carter? Music listeners worldwide are more interested in the latter; more curious about divulging into the mind and psyche of Beyonce, the newly married, former lead singer of super girl group Destiny’s Child.

But with her third solo album, widely publicized as her most personal project to date, does Beyonce really give insight into what life is like behind the celebrity trappings?

I Am…Sasha Fierce is exactly what was forecasted: a disjointed package of two sounds and ambiences. In what is described as an album illustrating two sides of the vocal powerhouse diva’s persona: Beyonce’, the artists vulnerable, emotional (sincere) side, and alter ego Sasha Fierce, the domineering, attention capturing diva; the two disc set straddles current music trends of pop on the former, and edgy, street-wise R&B/dance on the latter.

First disc, entitled, I Am, is an adventure in pop sounds and phrasings for the most part. In the grand scheme of this conceptual project, I Am is more rewarding and convincing.

Listening to the twenty-seven-year-old sing about her lover’s angelic qualities on “Halo” and pondering her actions as the opposite sex on “If I Were A Boy” is actually a bit refreshing. An abundance of acoustic elements (piano, guitar) and soaring restrained vocals reveal a distinctively new approach to music for the Houston native, famous for cramming more syllables and words into a single breath than her other female counterparts.

Even here, however, the attempts to incite a certain intimacy are futile. Most notably is “Ave Maria”, which may have been a decent song without the interpolation of the operatic standard into what is an overly ambitious, under-executed filler track. Conclusively, there is no doubt Mrs. Knowles-Carter has the chords to sing just about anything, and I Am, while pleasant, is almost too easy.

Thankfully, disc two, Sasha Fierce, finds Beyonce channeling her familiar, sure-footed sexiness. It’s inevitable that most will skip through a couple of tracks on disc one before they trade it in for Fierce.

With alter-ego in full effect, “Single Ladies (Put A Ring On It)” immediately signals the change of pace and prepares listeners to break out in a sweat. “Single Ladies” is about as synonymous with sophomore album single “Get Me Bodied” as any song could be without being an exact carbon copy. Down to the snappy hand claps and steady foot stomping beat —both songs even have accompanying dance routines—”Single Ladies” may sound eerily familiar, but it is among Bey’s catchiest songs to date.

“Radio” and “Sweet Dreams” are clear attempts to capitalize on the techno craze sweeping airplay as of late. “Radio” finds the singer stepping into Rihanna territory, relying on overemphasis of vowels ‘o’ and ‘a’ while in the midst of lyrics that sound like they were written for a teenager . On the other hand, Beyonce owns “Sweet Dreams”, embodying the song’s irony in her vocal delivery against the bass-thumping, rousing synths and sparkling piano. “Dreams”, a clear gem, was unfortunately leaked to radio and dance floors in the early part of 2008.

After listening to I Am…Sasha Fierce, one will realize that Beyonce’s work with Destiny’s Child on their farewell album, Destiny Fulfilled, is the closest we have gotten (or may ever get) to calling an album by Sasha Fierce herself, personal and probing.

Speaking of the Destiny Fulfilled album, the final track on second disc Fierce, “Video Phone”, borrows a lot from “Soldier” off of the DC3 project. Hustlers swagger and pants sagging low are the catalysts for Beyonce to offer a private “video phone” sex tape. “Video Phone” is rather frank.

We appreciate the notion of trying to present a candid, stripped down Beyonce to the world through music, but this is not it. There are interesting surprises, but this double-disc album package is a lot less compelling than it could have been. Given a recording process that stretched over a year, and a goldmine of seventy songs from which these eleven were selected, it’s hard to determine whether the album’s concept diminished the intended introspective feel or if the concept saved the songs from the project’s lapse in cohesiveness.

Beyonce’s voice is there. She sings effortlessly. A few good songs are there. Top 40 radio will eat up the catch phrases. But where is the evidence of the singer turned actress and wife blossoming into womanhood and relishing in the bliss of married life?

If Beyonce fights the inevitable, at worst she could end up like Usher; playing catch up by the time she is thirty. If she reinvents herself, she may never need to live her personal life on stage. Instead she can follow in the footsteps of Madonna or Tina Turner and “Sasha” all the way into her fifties and sixties.

I heard many of the tracks and I think Bey and her people said lets do a song that sounds like a hit song from last year. She saw how popular Alicias pop album As I Am was and she thought let me drop this hood routine and make some pop records. She got a song thats a little Rihannaish too.
That said the songs are horrible, I don’t think the album is focused. The alter ego thing is not working either.

I understand you all recognize this place as raising the bar in the blog game but to be honest, one could take the saturation of beyonce posts here as clear bias by Angel but nobody complains about that. I thought that it was noble of Beyonce to try something new on the first cd. Halo, Dissappear and If I Were A Boy are pretty nice. But they come across as forced.

On the second she just shoved a bunch of sub-par, get you shaking your booty tunes.

I am mixed about the entire album. I would give it 3 out of 5 stars, or maybe 2.75 stars.

I agree with # 28. She can write nusery rhymes and people will love it. There are better artists than her. That DIVA song sounds like Jay-Z has rubbed off on her now. She’s seems as if she is very cocky and self-centered as if the world revolves around her music only. There are many great singers that came before her and are here now. I believe here audience is made up of mostly people under the age of 23.
I wonder what is going to happen when she reaches the age of 31. I won’t be spending my hard earned money on that album.

if you go into listening to this album with an expectation of what you think a beyonce album should be, you will be disappointed. This is not Dangerously in Love Part II or Bday part II. However, this project stands on its own as a good album. She stepped outside the box for her, and as such made herself more vulnerable to scrutiny. But at this point in her career, she can do what she wants. Bravo B.

The songs that I like are Halo, Ego, Dissapear. Diva is ok and single ladies I like because I’ve heard it so damn many times it’s like I have to like it. Now sweet dreams I love that song but she could have left that turn the lights on off the song. It’s doing too much. I know she likes to have that catchy phrase in all her upbeat songs, but she could have left that out. The song was fine the way it was. And one last thing. Though I love a couple of songs on the album she could have done much better. And I’m sorry but most people that sing about the personal things in there lives write their own songs.

You compare her to lil Wayne but his single at least went #1 on the Billboards before his album dropped. That showed the people were interested. Beyonce singles (2) surfaced 4 or 5 weeks ago and has yet to break into the Billboards #1 spot. Even Usher’s “Love in the Club” went #1 before he flopped.

I think she should be grateful that she can chant in a song about making 50 million worldwide, because she won’t have a repeat performance (and by the way, she is going to need the majority of that to push Solange). I’m going to support Bey and buy the album tomorrow when it comes out. However, I wasn’t really feeling what I heard so far. It will have to grow on me I guess.
I’m extremely disappointed that Sweet Dreams/Beautiful Nightmare was leaked a long time ago. It’s old by now but I guess it’s been reworked and I’ll have to listen to it. I loved it then and I hope a different version doesn’t ruin it for me.

I personally love “Halo” and for some reason even though I really don’t like the track for the past week I ve caught myself repeating ” diva is a female version of a hustla.” “Scared of Lonely” is sweet and tragic at the same time. Actually the cd is very good the lyrics are personal on most songs and she stepped outside the box and made a great cd. People complained they were tried of the “booty shaking Bey” All the songs on I Am beyonce are good and heartfelt and her voice is beautiful. Now sometimes I love to dance and that where Single Ladies and Video Phone comes in. I love Ego because everyone feels like that at times. Hello is just the truth.

Beyonce singing in “pop style” is like Aretha Franklin sing “Baby Hit Me One More time”. Yuck!!!

I just listened to Britney’s album and it is FIRE! I really think Britney will give Beyonce a run for her money with records sales. White people will eat this new Britney up…..listening right now and people are like this is hot.

Halo is INCREDIBLE! Easily one of the best songs she’s ever done.

Beyonce’s album is fire!! There are multiple standout tracks on the album, and I feel she has really grown. Her vocals are even better, and I love that she recorded different types of sounds for this record. She excels whether she is on a ballad “Ave Maria”, “Broken Hearted Girl”, “Halo”, or a dance number “Radio” “Sweet Dreams”. Beyonce also does a lot of great midtempos on the album, I loved “Hello”, “Scared of Lonely”, as well as “Ego”. To me her whole album is standout, and I agree with Brian for the most part. Also her live performances this era are top notch, and above the rest. She gives her all, and if she is giving this much in performances of her first singles IIWAB and SL then I know the second and third singles will be amazing. Her artisty is undeniable this time around. I love everything about how the vision and execution of this project. Beyonce is an all around great artist, and I will definitely be picking up the album on tomorrow!

Also LOL @ people getting mad at Brian’s review because it is positive. He gave a review of the album based on his perception of it. I guess some people just hate seeing anything positive about an artist and their work. This is his review, put on his blog. I think it is very reflective of the work that Beyonce put out.

I listened to the cd. I don’t know if I can properly judge it yet, but on my first listen - I didnt even make it through all of it because it got a little boring for me. I like alot of different types of music and I like that Bey is trying to go in a different direction and please her fans that like the more pop side vs. the urban side..but Idk. Its like I’m so damn tired of her that I can’t even enjoy the song. For example the song smash into you, is a beautiful ballad and I know if someone else was singing it I’d probably be more into it because it’d be a new tone for my ear. So in a sense, I am saying that maybe I dislike her album because I’m tired of her. Not only that but alot of her songs sound like they couldve been rejects from Bday for instance Diva which reminds me of upgrade you pt 2. and single ladies which reminds me of get me bodied (in which let me say i LOVE the video & the dancing)… I think vocally, the album is beyond on point but alot of it sounds like or like her previous work…but whatever. Nothing will top her DIL album.

I listened to it today. A coworker bought on Saturday. I think the cd is okay.. It is not the best cd yet this year. I think there are a couple of songs that are standouts but it does sound like she is trying to hard to be a pop or white singer. Some of these Lisa Loeb Alanis Morrisette songs don’t work for Beyonce. I am still on the fence about buying it. Cos, it seems like a cd that I will have listen to more than once to get into.

All the people talking about picking up several copies work for Beyonce and all they have to do is swing around in their chairs and get them off the table. I’m sure they are free for employees. Well maybe not (especially with the Knowles). But I’m sure they can at least get them for half price or buy one get one free.

I love Beyoncé don’t get me wrong. She can sing and she’s amazing… BUT… BUT… BUT… This album is 100% shit… It’s total junk and isn’t worth a value meal at McDonalds… This time I feel she just fooled out… 2008 has been the year of flops. From Janet, to Usher, to even Mariah (although she went platinum). With this below mediocre crap she’s singing… She’s next :[

you know, i’m not in love with it. i acknowledge the fact that she’s trying something different, but I’m just not feeling it. It feels like she just amplified “Irreplaceable” to make the “I Am” side, and (insert pop track from B’Day here) to create the “Sasha Fierce” side. to me, it’s nothing new - i’ve heard it all before. I won’t be buying this one, unfortunately (or fortunately).

It amazes me how the things that happens whenever Beyonce knowles-Carter is discussed. You have peeps posting for fans to jump off a cliff and that they should get their IQ checked. Whether a person think Beyonce is doing great music, the truth is, good music is subjective so please don’t be condescending. This goes both Bey fans too. Anyway, this is going to be long so bare with me.

Here is what I think of the double album: My viewpoint is that Contemporary R&B needs more variety as far as adding genres to progress it and this album will do it. Bey don’t have the “prototypical” R&B voice so this is the kind of album that fits best with her voice. A lil bit of this, a lil of that. She’s so versatile she can sing the phone book and give a vocal clinic. Ave Maria is great in that it shows off her classical training. Halo is so passsionate and intense especially for a ballad. I love Smash into you. Learn to be Lonely is also intense like Halo but with a different sound. Still love it. Broken Hearted is a strong song also. The only song that don’t grab me on the Beyoncé side is Satelites. However, it is still very high quality. 4.5 out of 5

As for the Sasha CD, the thing that surprises me is that it is not as Uptempo as I expected it to be. Diva is an ear catcher, and Single Ladies is also an ear-catcher and the lyrics are deeper than you think(Listen to the Bridge). Ego is great. I love the Wordplay(It’s too big, it’s too wide, it’s too strong, it’s tough, it won’t fit, cause he got a big ego). Not to mention, since the Beyonce CD has Halo, it is the song that promotes the devilish, egotistical side of Bey’s performing alter ego which is what the Sasha CD is all about. Video Phone, I could take it or leave it. Sweet Dreams, I don’t like that song. I didn’t like it when it was a demo and I thought that if they were going to put it on the album, at least change the production. They didn’t. Don’t like it. It seem Bey was trying to hold her voice back to fit the weakness of the production. Other than that, the CD is good but not as good as the Beyonce CD. I give it 4 out of 5 which means, overall it is a 4.25 out of 5.

One last thing, anyone who wanted a “deep autobiographical” effort, is not going to get it. The closest we will get is Ave Maria, song dedictate to Jay and their love. But I get the concept: Show that I am a normal woman, maybe even a lil boring away from the stage while a laced-front, ball of energy on the stage. So for that alone, I appreciate it. It is good music, but the kind of album like B’day, those who love it will love and those who hate it, will hate it.

I’ll be getting the album despite what the haters say LOL!!!!

This album is actually really good, the ballads are amazin, disappear, ave maria, halo, just beautiful…. this is the new diection, you would never see her in the past recording songs like if i were a boy, satellites or smash into you, or more pop international sound like radio or sweet dreams.
The up-mid tempos, ego, the part when she is singin with the piano is BEAUTIFUL radio, sweet drems, video phone…. all nice! Its different from her previous work and the lyrics are great too.
I am buying it.

Now, this week, If I were a boy will be number one in the BILLBOARD HOT 100, I am telling you this, from what I saw on itunes, its obvious, next week is a takeover.
Now concerning Single ladies, they release it on tuesday so expect Beyoncé to have a number 1 album, 2 singles in the top 10 for the next week. I saw Dangerously in love too, is re-selling really good and is in the top 10 amazingly!

Brian, the ‘haters’ comment is funny lol you’re seem to be such a Beyoncé stan lol but I thank concreteloop for the posivity in the blog and the hype around Beyoncé, you guys are doing the damn thing to promote the Knowles!

This is the first album of hers that has had to grow on me. I remember when I heard B’Day for the first time I couldnt stop listening to it, it blew me away! lol. IMO I think is was her best signature sound so far, still outshining this. magnum opus ish!

This album sounds like it was set up for her and Bey just threw on her lacefront rolled up and did her vocals in day and scrammed. It is severely underproduced, IT sounds like it took two weeks to do, and B’Day sounds like it took as long this. I remember her saying she wanted to be an icon and not just follow the crowd, but this sounds like a complete 180 from what she wanted! I apprecaite her doing some new stuff though “Diva” is that tune! but overall im still a little confused. I know she wasnt ready for quiet storm, and I hope she doesnt go there for another 20 years! Keep shakin girl

The reason I’m buying multiple copies is because Imma Bee fan. I’ve do this with all artist I love. I’ll buy 2 or 3 copies and either use them as stocking stuffers, or b-day gifts.

Now, on to my sweet Beyonce…This woman put her heart into this album. She has proven to me why she is so admired around the world.How can someone call this album boring, but listen to Jennifer Hudson’s album and say it’s entertaining. And the ppl that are callin the 2nd disc ‘ghetto trash”…it’s for the club. When I go to the clubs I dont wanna hear no freakin slow ass song. I wanna dance. And thats when they played Diva everyone started moving..it was crunk. And so what she used some of the “A Milli” beat…..no one said anything about Lil Wayne using Beyonce’s Irreplacable pattern in “Comfortable”……

THANK YOU! I’ve been saying this for ages. And they do the same thing with her pictures. When she gets all glammed up they consider it gaudy, overdone, or drag queen-ish. But when she gets less dresssed and made up they say she’s boring as hell and has no flavor. WTF? Beyonce can never, ever, win with some people. No matter what she does she will never get an approval from them. Beyonce has done almost everything in the damn book to put a smile on these haters faces but she can still never win. The only option she has left is to whip out a banjo and call it a day. There’s nothing left for her to accomplish to make these ‘nonbelievers’ complement her.

Anywho, I will be getting the album no doubt. Some of the songs still have to grow on me but overall I would rate the cd an 8/10. I already got the whole thing on my iPod and in my car. Limewire is very useful.

ok i’m not a fan, stan, hater…or whatever else. so here’s my review of the album….i feel that the album is definitely above average, but i was expecting a classic album…and i think this album missed the mark when it comes to that…if a new artist came with this album it would be a good album, but since it’s beyonce, we hold her at a higher standard and rightfully so. i personally don’t care for IIWAB but SL is definitely growing on me after seeing the video…standouts include halo, sweet dreams, and disappear. she was clearly trying to cater to many audiences with this album and i think she did, but i don’t think this is an album we will be talking about many years from now. overall i give the album 3.8/5 stars.

Last thing….I love beyonce’s sounds, I love Jazzy’s sound, I love Brandy’s sound….This are all different artist, why would we want them to sound the same or sing about the same thing. “Real music” (whatever that is) she expand beyond ‘Love and pain. I mean damn….can some music jus be fun. That’s why I love beyonce, she knows that her fans like to have fun. When she puts ona concert, her fan are on their feet dancing and excited.

I actually think that Brian’s “I Am…Sasha Fierce” album review was pretty informative and overall a very well written piece. I don’t think it was biased or unprofessional at all. In making the “stans & haters” comment, it just acknowledged that fact that people are just generally checkin’ for Beyonce. Furthermore, the statement only reinerated the influence of her two current singles, “If I Were A Boy” & “Single Ladies”. He didn’t run-on with his own opinions, he simply stated the obvious.

Just my thoughts.

I heard this album for the first time today, and i gotta say it’s not good at all ” i’m very dissapointed!” No offense to anyone here, but I couldn’t even make it through all the songs, it was just that bad. Yeah, she did@ Monnie. She is really growing as a vocalist IMO. I feel that she is actually three years away from the beginning of the her vocal prime as her voice becomes fuller and more mature. It is not there yet, but it is great all the same and not to mention, the things she can do with her voice is crazy.

OK so I just love all music in general….there were a couple of stand out songs and I do like Disappear, but honestly Beyonce could have done better. I don’t think this cd is up to her full potential. With money being tight, a cd these days have to be just absolutely great…but I just don’t really like a lot of the songs on here. To me DIL was her best cd, and with my favorite artists I can truly say that they always make great albums, but each one gets better. I can’t say that with Bey cuz it’s like she really doesn’t grow much as an artist…. But on the songs she sounded great I mean she’s a great singer so that’s definitely not the case.

Honestly, Britney’s album is better. I know they are in two different lanes, but being that Beyonce decided to go pop on this album Britney has is on lock.
On Britney’s new album there are 6 songs that I like and on Beyonce’s there are two.
Check out Mannequin, Circus, Leather & Lace, Blur, Amnesia, Phonography, and Womanizer is catchy. I know Brit is crazy but she gives a great performance, and its interesting to see what her and Beyonce’s #’s will be because Beyonce has never gone up against Britney as a solo artist. People forget that Britney sold more records than Beyonce and DC by herself and white people are really waiting for her. Britney’s Blackout album sold as much as BDay without any promotion.

I am a big Beyonce’ fan and I am very open to all music but for some reason, I am not feeling this one at all. Of course I love “Single Ladies” and I recently discovered my love for “Radio” but that’s about it. I think she shows great range with the songs on the album but I just cannot get into it. I am not a fan of the ballads and the pop songs are just quite elementary. “Diva” and “Video Phone” have great beats but the lyrics are just plain dumb, there is no way around it. I challenge true fans to really examine the album and listen objectively and see if you will still sing her praises. As I said before I love her and I believe she is a vocal powerhouse, but I think her lyrics are quite, how do I say it…simple.

I agree 100%. It has been said that Beyonce’s fans are shallow, stupid, etc. I am a Beyonce fan and I am far from shallow. I like all types of music from old school, new school, gospel,rock, pop, rap, country, r&b etc. Why do music fans have to be pigeonholed. Is it not possible to love and respect Beyonce and to simultaneously love and respect Jill Scott (whom I’ve admired since her first cd)? Bottom line…this album is not worth the money. For someone who puts themselves on the highest pedestal possible, whether its her willing to outshine or overshine every female artist who dare to dominate the #1 spot (even her own group members), Beyonce really took a drink of confidence of splitting a 1 LP album into 2….NICE TRY!!!

There’s nothing here that brings out the Beyonce she knows she’s supposed to be. So its obvious that listening to this album is a fascade to the ear…with the exception of “Halo”, where she pulls off a nice Leona Lewis challenge, and the actually BANGER on this entire package is “Scared Of Lonely”. Those 2 songs are the reason for the 2 stars.

Once again…..It’s not worth it. Unless you are a CD collector or you just wanna see some sexy pics (5 star photography lol….hmmmm), this isn’t worth your money.
Also, she seems unable to recapture the charm and excitement that was “Crazy in love”.

If you go for the regular edition of the album, you miss most of the best songs (”Smash into you”, “Hello”, “Ego”, “Scared of lonely”, and bonus tracks “Save the hero” and “Why don’t you love me”). It’s really pointless getting the regular edition. All 11 songs on the regular edition could have conveniently fit onto a single disc.

I won’t be surprised if months down the line, she releases a deluxe deluxe edition including the good songs that should have been on the album in the first place, much like she did with “B’day”.

The people that don’t like the album obviously and not really musically inclined. I agree that it’s not the “Normal” Beyonce but I LOVE the album. It’s different and shows growth and that’s what we all want right? Instead of the same R&B music that she has done. We want an artist to grow and release music different from the previous. I give Beyonce an A for effort cause this album is great and It has touched me already, I can literally feel the lyrics and feel where she’s coming from plus there are a few songs on the album that hits home for me! This album will prevail cause it is great work!!!!

I am a real big supporter of Beyonce, but I wasn’t impressed with this cd. I hear vocal renditions taken from DC3. For instance, Disappear seems like a spin on DC3’s Free and she sings similar tune taken from DC3’s Independent Woman Part 2. Also EGO track sounds very similar to a track from Fighting Temptations. In addition, I felt the overall cd wasn’t cohesive to pull off alter ego. I had expected more. I still like some songs on the cd. Oh well.

As one who loves Beyonce because she represents my hometown (H-Town) I hate to say the CD lacks substance and artistic growth. This CD will not be a classic that people will continue to play years to come.

With the exception of Diva (and that’s only because it sounds so much like “A Milli”), there’s nothing else on this album that I actually enjoyed. I honestly liked BDay a lot better. I was bored to death listening to the I am…side. And Sasha fierce was SASHA TAME. Better yet SASHA LAME. I give this album a C, because I at least understand the concept, it just wasn’t bought into actualization.

But I think this should be called “I Am… Confused.”
I don’t see this Sasha Fierce she’s talking about in this album
It sounds good; her vocals are really good. But Sasha Fierce is a Diva and if you ask me not many of the songs on the double album reflect this.
I love “Smash Into You” and “Single Ladies”
I guess Sasha Fierce came out on “Single Ladies”
But the rest is all soppy; Broken Hearted Girl
Boring; Ave Maria, I’m Alone Now
And It’s ALL BEEN DONE BEFORE
“If I Were A Boy”; Ciara done did that and if you’re gonna steal a concept, do it better.
“Diva”; Lil Wayne… and this doesn’t even have a concept. The beats so weak you don’t even bother listened to it. It has no substance,
And a few of the tracks sound like they’ve been stolen off Rihanna’s next album.
I don’t know. I’m not really liking it. Her vocals are good; especially on “That’s Why You’re Beautiful…”

I heard this CD for the first time. I will not be buying this CD. This is the worst Cd Beyonce every put out. Keyshia Cole and Brandy new CD sound 10 times better. I just hope this was not a rush job. Someone take the wheel…. help this child… if this CD go PLT…. I will be surprise……

I really want to state facts Beyonce is making tons of money, traveling the globe, and highly visible…BUT she is not original. Her father and management staff takes ideas from the 70’s and use them today. This is a pretty genius concept (see Puffy), as most of her audience was born in the 80’s and 90’s so they have never heard the music. I really wish she would be herself…it’s probably difficult, since she has to focus on what will sell and make her money. One thing I can say to all bloggers spend less time hating and more time doing you….. Live your life and pray for celebrities. It can’t be easy being in the public eye and having everything you do be scrutinized. I’m thankful I can walk in the mall and not be harassed. Although I wouldn’t mind having millions of dollars and traveling the globe. Don’t worry I’ll have them one day. Love you all mwah

Okay, the hating is becoming really ridiculous. Beyonce is the best singer there is, the smartest, the most talented, most gorgeous and the most well-rounded singer. I’m really not understanding why people are posting such negative comments about her. It’s very obvious that people are very jealous of her. My question is this: Why not support an artist that is ACTUALLY TALENTED? Most of the singers out there cannot really sing! Ya’ll are hating ther wrong celebrity. Hate those who are being paid for having absolutely no talent.

Beyonce is the best there is and anyone who cannot see that is just plain ignorant.

You’re telling people not to hate and scrutinize her but uh HELLO! you just did. So far, the biggest hater that I’ve seen is SALI. She is hating really hard and I really think that she needs prayer, so I will pray for her and hopefully others will as well.

As far as the album, it is extremely unique and each song fits beyonce because she wrote most of them independently and put her heart into each and everyone.

As far as referring to Beyonce as “money hungry,” well she deserves every penny because she is a very talented and exclusive artist. HOWEVER, she is not selfish and obviously not as “money hungry” as people think, considering the fact that she donated her entire salary from her movie Cadillac Records to a rehabilitation center and is a well-known philanthropist. So again, stop hating! She deserves the attention, she actually good!

This is the best album she has done. She is far and above the most talented singer around. halo single ladies and the fabulous ave maria stand out. A brilliant album, just wish tickets to see her were less expensive. The queen has reclaimed her throne.
