BARACK OBAMA WINS THE ELECTION!
Wednesday, November 5, 2008

Sen. Barack Obama speaks to over 125,000 crowd members in Chicago’s Grant Park, minutes after being elected the 44th president of the United States, becoming the nation’s first black person to be elected president.
Obama, the son of a black father from Kenya and a white mother from Kansas and a first-term Democratic senator from Illinois, defeated second-time Republican presidential candidate Sen. John McCain. The election proved even more victorious for Democrats, which now have the majority in both the House and Senate, the first time since 1994.
In case you missed it, check out President-Elect Obama’s acceptance speech.

REASON:
I am not a Republican, Democrat, or anything else. I am a Christian first and only. It does not matter to me the race, party, etc. The issues and who is closest to God and my moral convictions matter. And it should matter to anyone who calls themselves a Christian. It seems a lot of people took off their “church lady” glasses at the polls and that is why we are stuck with someone like Barack Obama, but we all we surely regret it. I keep my church glasses on all the time - because I’m a Christian ALL THE TIME, not just when I have money in my pocket or it is convienent! I don’t make people run from God, selfishness and the lust of the flesh drives people from God. I don’t have animosity with anyone on this board or Barack Obama, I have issues with the evil spirit behind him - He is just a pawn on the prophetic chessboard. The Bible says the closer we get the Jesus’ return that the world would wax worse and worse. What happened yesterday proves it, our morals will not get better, just worst. That is why he won yesterday - he is paving the way for the coming of the Lord by helping to usher in more moral decay. Once more - God Bless you all!

CANDIDLY: I REALLY DON’T KNOW WHAT TO SAY RIGHT NOW…IT’S LIKE I’M WITNESSING THIS AMAZING, HISTORICAL, CATACLYSMIC, SURREAL, WONDERFUL THING AND I JUST DON’T HAVE A VOCABULARY LARGE ENOUGH TO EXPRESS IT. AS A PEOPLE (PEOPLE MEANING FORWARD AND PROGRESSIVE INDIVIDUALS) THIS SETS THE BAR HIGHER IN HOW WE DREAM, IN HOW WE IMAGINE. LET US EMBRACE THIS TIME RIGHT NOW! LET US NOT WAIT FOR ANY MOMENTS OF ADVERSITY OR UNIMAGINABLE CHALLENGES, THAT ARE SURE TO COME, PREDICATE WHAT CAN BE OVERCOME. THOSE WHO FEAR THE LORD GOD ARE NEVER LEAD TO A PLACE TO BE ABANDONED. LET US NOT BE PATIENT FOR A MOMENT THAT APPEARS TO BE A FALL FROM GRACE. IT HAS BEEN PROVEN LAST NIGHT TO MANY, MYSELF INCLUDED, WHAT IS IMPOSSIBLE FOR MEN IS POSSIBLE FOR GOD.

I am not going to debate with you because we all have the right to our own opinions. I would just like to say that all politicians, including McCain, have policies that contradict the Bible so to say that people disregarded their Christianity when they voted for Barack is a weak argument because if we took your opinion and compared candidates policies to the Bible we couldn’t vote for anyone.
Anyway – Obama ‘08 I still can’t stop smiling : )

when it was clear that obama was going to become the next president of the united states last night, i felt a few things… relieved and, at the same time, anxious and kind of annoyed. it’s like the feeling that you got when you were little and the bus was late picking you up. there’s a slight panic because you think maybe you’ve missed it, maybe it came early. but then the bus finally shows up and you think “it’s about f*cking time”… now because the bus was late you’ve got to hustle to make sure you get everything you need before class starts. so that really sums up how i feel about this election. it’s about f*cking time. sure it’s wonderful that it happened, but what the hell took so long. we have a slight exhale, but now we’ve got to really tighten our belts and think about all of the work there is to do… all of the making up for lost time.

1st Congats Barack Obama my 44th, & 1st african american president! Makes me so proud to be an American. There truly are no words to express what I watched on TV Nov.4th as Barack Obama exceeded over 270 electoral numbers & also won the popular vote. Even more hard to describe is how I felt when listening & gazing @ Obama making his brilliant speech. When the new 1st family (1st blk family) walked out on stage it warmed my heart & then I realized again Americas diverse nation is over-coming race being such a central issue, although race is still a very hott issue its cooling with time. It may take many more decades, years, and centrutys before race is a minimal hinderance for people in this nation. Barack as president is not only an idol to black people that they too can be all they can be, but to every minority group! (Asian, latin, indian, bi-racial, tri-racial ect!) he repersent all of us! we are all deserving people if we hard and never give up like our new dear president Barack Obama, i just cant say him name and new title enough! I wish all the best to Barack as him embarks on the coming 4 yrs. May God or whatever higher being there my be, keep his family blessed, watched over and safe. Nov.4th, 2008 such a beautiful day, such a beautiful day.

When Obama said spread the wealth I don’t think he meant to take from hard working people and give to others who are less hardworking. I don’t want to put words in the man’s mouth but I think he meant in terms of equal rights.
If I’m doing the same type of job as my co-worker working for the same company and we are both equally hard workers. Do you think it would be fair if that person made a substantial amount of more money than me? Not to mention I was working for the company longer than this person. I don’t think I have to tell you all that nowadays it’s not what you know but who you know. I see this type of behavior day in and day out. You have some people screaming and complaining about Affirmative Action but look what they’re doing. Giving high paying jobs to people when they know full well they’re unqualified. Their giving these jobs because they’re drinking buddies or they golf together or they’re part of the same country club. The list goes on. This type of behavior is the reason we have Affirmative Action in the first place. Black people never wanted to be superior. We just want equality. Tha’t it! It’s always been that way.
Why are people so scared and angry that the power has shifted? It was bound to happen. You can’t have just one group of people in power all the time. It’s been proven time and time again that it just doesn’t work that way.

I also wanted to point out that Barack is not for black people. He’s not for white people. He is for PEOPLE! One of the reasons I voted for him is because he wasn’t a child of privilege. Nothing was handed down to him except a sense of hard work and determination. He’s not from money. Did any of you know that he was once homeless in NYC? Barack was just like any other man. He was trying to find his place in life. He kinda reminds me of me because I moved around quite a bit trying to figure out just what the hell am I suppose to do in life. What is my purpose? This is why so many people feel the connection to him.

I am a young black female who happens to be Canadian and we are SO HAPPY FOR OBAMA and AMERICA. I have been cring for the past 48 hours tears of happiness and joy. I stayed up until 4am just to watch all the after coverage. Finally a man is being judge by the content of his character and not for hte colour of his skin. Barack Obama represents ALL people and America should feel very proud.
John McCain’s speech was very gracious ( as they usually are ) but also very insightful.. I hope he does reach out to Barack and the Democrats.
Although his presidency will be very challenging.. I am open to the limitless possibilities that Barack can achieve. He is very competitive and he will make mistakes…but WE ( yes I’m including myself ) should stand beside him and with him as he grows and help each other. Canada is America’s cousin and we need to develope a better relationship with our brothers. Everything that affects America, usually affects Canada too. so we DO HAVE A STAKE in his Presidency!
Congratulations Mr. President Elect, Michelle, Joe and Jill!

I came back on here, and some people do not understand why we are celebrating. We are not simply celebrating for our “black” candidate, we are celebrating because Americans said in one voice, they wanted change. They wanted to deviate from the typical business as usual. This brother has rewritten political history books, and some people are hung up on false prophecies, and campaigns, and cannot see that a black man shifted the electoral map. President Obama turned traditionally red states into democratic states during this election. He has the highest number of electoral votes in the history of this nation. That’s something to celebrate, and color does not have to be mentioned.
As far as Bible goes, how can one support the divisive spirits spread by McCain/Palin. The bible says “Test the spirit by the spirit,” and when I got done testing the McCain/Palin spirit was not of God. The Republicans prayed that blacks would not have high voter turnout, they prayed that the Bradley effect would happen (aka racism), I mean, what is godly about that. President Obama has openly said that he does not support same sex marriage. I want to know how is it that historians never want to say that Jesus is a man of color, but are willing to say that the Anti-Christ is a man of color. I can see how Bush used religion to manipulate those who do not study their Bibles for themselves.

)
I do have to say that McCain came across graciously and magnamonious in his speech when he conceded defeat even when there were hecklers and whatnot, so that’s commendable, I suppose. Now we all have to work together, America, Europe, Asia, Africa, Middle East to sort out this flippin global crisis

Once again I hear Negro leaders spewing out ignorance to the black community about politics and voting. Please show some intelligence, and impart wisdom to the black community. If you do not, black people will STOP voting AGAIN because there is NOTHING in it for them.
EVERYONE of the white, yellow, and red people that voted for Obama did it because HE PROMISED TO DO SOMETHING FOR THEM. Not the other way around. That’s the way politics works.
Black people are not super human. They’re not going to stop drinking and drugging, and suffering from depression, HIV, DISCRIMINATION in every facet of society, and high rates of unemployment just because a black man is in the white house.
As long as the govt sits by and allows white rascist to force black people back into Jim Crow the black man will continue with extreme low self esteem, self hatred, and destruction.
We must demand something for OUR VOTE. The main thing we must demand is that the govt sees to it that discrimination in housing, employment, and the court system ends. We must demand that SEVERE fines, and prison sentences be levied for these crimes, and that the burden of proof is not so high.
AARP just wrote me a letter, along with the millions of other seniors, asking that we sign a petition to force Barack into addressing our issues in the first 100 days.
All intelligent special interest groups will be asking him to keep his campaign promises.
If we ask nothing, we’ll get nothing, and having a black president will not have benefited us one bit, AND I personally will NOT vote another one in, in that case.

@ Meatloaf/DaisyDukes
I’m tryin’ to let ya’ll have and enjoy your little “simple negro” moment. You gotta let the man that’s about to die enjoy his last meal and cigarette. Now had I chimed in, you cats and these silly women would’ve thrown a hissyfit. “Here come dis nigga Judah wit his ‘negativity’.”. Lol. I avoid idolatrous posts like this for a reason. They’re too emotionally driven and based in vanity and carnality. This is a time for the idiots amongst our race to jump up and down, clap, and shout, which is about all the majority of you are mentally capable of doing. The ones of our people in the know understand that this is one of the last phases before the destruction of this present world and the wicked of our people. Obama’s (s)election is the perfect pretense to make black people more “patriotic” and believing in the lies of the powers that be so that they can be lead like sheep to the slaughter in their own destruction in these oncoming wars that are on the docket. This nonsense has black people, the descendants of slaves, waving American flags. Slaves to the core, smh. The white man’s power is waning, he knows this, and he wants to take as many of his enemies with him as he can (Rev 12:12).
Who didn’t know that McCain was not going to be selected to be administrative assistant to the international bankers? Obama has paid the cost to be the boss, lol. Now when this whole corporation known as America collapses around him, since he’s been set up to be the fall guy, I want to see how many of you clowns are going to stick by him or will have the intelligence to explain for the decisions he will be ordered to make. I expect simplicity from most of these women, but the majority of you black men need to be ashamed of your damn selves for falling for the okey doke over and over. What Obama will eventually do is get rid of affirmative action and quota based hiring because he will be used as alleged “proof” that “racism no longer exists”. On top of that, you buffoons give the couple of sisters on this post that are actually trying to stand for something a hard time.

Bitter Judah!
Bitter Judah!
Bitter Judah!
You said it wouldn’t happen, but it did! So much for your prophetic error! You can tell a true prophet by the things he predicts…that come to pass! Judah, your prediction got overwhellmed by two-thirds margin. A landslide! So, now you want to play the assisnation card like a scared roach trapped in the corner. I wear pointed-toe shoes just for such occasions! You talked all that BS about a conspiracy by the “man” to beat the democrats and now you’re trying to move on like you know whats gonna happen next. Shut up fool!!! Shut up bitter Judah!
You said one thing that I hope is right: “…Obama’s (s)election is the perfect pretense to make black people more “patriotic”. I think it will also make white people color-blind! Reaching out from both sides is call faith! The evidence of things unseen! You should try faith and lose all the negative doubt!
Dukesman, I’m starting to regret that we exposed the uncle Tom! I liked him better as a quiet uncle! He said he was trying to let us enjoy the moment! hehehehe! That’s a translation for “He was hoping that no one noticed”. Well, you can always tell the nut from the tree it falls.

Conspiracy theories abound I see..I think the slave mentality causes some black people to believe that there has to be a “trick” in this somewhere..some just have to believe that there is a “set up” and that Barack is being put in a position to fail. Well, all you had to do was look at the crowd in Grant Park on the night of the election. This election is bigger than black vs. white. That is going to be seen as an antiquated way of seeing world issues. The world looks more like barack obama than black vs. white. Young people who are moving into positions of poer in this country, have spoken. they do not subscribe to the black vs. white theory so much. If you looked at the crowd there were black, white, latino, asian, arab, and everything else in between. Barack is a president for the people, and not just american people. People around the globe rejoiced at his victory.
I feel for those who just can’t believe that this win actually trumped the race baiters and the racist who dwell in the corners of our country..it is a symptom of something much bigger. That doubt, fear and negativity is born out of the slave mentality. Instead of taking your rightful place in this country that was built off the sweat of our backs, some of us would rather give “excuses” as to why we can’t participate and actually beat the system. Barack Obama played by their rules and beat them at their own game. That in itself deserves credit. No matter how I look at it, I see Barack as giving inspiration to millions of people of color around the globe. I refuse to give in to doubt and/or fear. This is exactly what Barack encouraged to do, and he won. He had the audactity to hope and that hope has turned into a reality. He is the first of many to break the barrier. Many people believed the Rev. Wright issue would derail him. It did not.
This country that was built by us saw something change on Nov. 4th, and the racists who still exist, were all outnumbered on Nov. 4th. We did not do this alone black people, some hearts have been changed. This country will never be the same. It’s called progress and as much of our brothers and sisters who cling to fear and doubt, just can’t believe that something positive happened, bow your heads and pray for them, because it is hard for them to realize that the chains are broken, and its time to take our rightful place in this society. That only happens when we claim it. Fear will keep us gridlocked, conspiracy theories help the fearful stay grid-locked and give them a reason not to participate..It’s really only their fear speaking. So forgive them…of course it’s not an easy road ahead of Barack, but it wouldn’t be easy for any president. Our world is in chaos now, and a black man will be the one to set the tone, he will be the one to put us back on the path to prosperity. Remember, it was already said that he wouldn’t accomplish the great feat of becoming President, but he did. To those who are now waiting for his downfall? You sound like a broken record already. Just watch God work through Mr. President..Barack Obama…

This is what Obama plans to do for illegal immigrant
border fence
“The key is to consult with local communities [when] creating any kind of barrier.”
Obama voted for the fence but has since joined Clinton in de-emphasizing his support, which is unpopular in border towns and among Hispanic voters.
Guest worker program
“Illegal immigration is bad for illegal immigrants and bad for the workers against whom they compete.”
Obama supports a guest-worker program with a database of workers, arguing it will improve wages and conditions for all workers.
Legalization and amnesty
“Give the 12 million people who are here illegally… many of whom have U.S. citizens for children…a pathway to legalization.”
Obama supports giving illegal immigrants a path to legal residency, similar to Clinton’s position.
Enforcement and security
“I will make sure that the federal government does what it’s supposed to do…a better job of closing our borders and preventing hundreds of thousands of people to pour in.”
Obama voted for comprehensive immigration reform and has stressed that legalizing workers will boost U.S. wages.

But, now that we have won!
He sits alone and bitter!
Judah lost his prophet card!
And, now he’s all dejected!
When presidential candidate,

Oh shit, the King Uncle Tom has emerged. Judas, after it was announced that Obama had been elected the 44th President of the United States, for some reason I pictured you holding your chest in the same way Red Fox used to do in “Sanford and Son” Hahaha.
I know your little self hating heart could not handle the fact that a Black Man was elected President. There you go preaching the bible to me again. What about your thoughts? Do you think for yourself? Look I am saying you are ignorant but you know a lot about things that aren’t so.

@Meat
Lmao! You almost made me crack a rib with that “Shut up bitter Judah!”. Nigga pull up your panties and tighten your bra. This is why I like to mess wit ya’ll cats. I tell you what. Let’s see what happens in the oncoming months and years (or however long this lasts) and get back to me. You negroes set yourselves up everytime. The only surprise in this whole fiasco was when the Illuminati allowed Obama to beat Hillary but it’s similiar to what they did here in NY with former governor Spitzer in replacing him with the black governor Patterson in order to make Patterson the bearer of bad news, i.e. the total collapse of Wall Street, the crux of the U.S. economy. The scriptures tell us that America will be destroyed by thermonuclear destruction because it has spread it’s false doctrines worldwide and it’s inhabitants worship Satan but call him “God” (II Cor 11:13,14, Zech 14:12, Mal 4:1). I don’t see anyone doing anything to avert that, certainly not a politician that agrees with hom*sexual rights and abortion (Psa 12:8). There’s honestly so much that I can go into on this idiocy and the information that has been dug up on this charlatan that it would be it’s own post in and of itself. This is why I told you that I wanted you clowns to enjoy your last meal (Isaiah 22:13,14).
You’re so gung ho on coming together with whites that when the fabricated euphoria of having this dude assume a position in which he will have to follow the same orders as everyone else wears off, it will quickly become apparent that no one can stop the inevitable. This is why you harassed those sisters, and had the nerve to act as if you knew the Bible, lol. You are unequally yoked with them because they believe in the scriptures, to a degree. You believe in America. The two are diametrically opposed. Our people are drunken from the wine of the Great Whore (Rev 18:2,3). Now if you knew the Word of the Lord, you would understand where and to what degree you err, but you don’t so you won’t. Your girlfriend Dukesman is joking about whites reporting to the plantation, lmao. You think that Obama is going to even the playing field, much less levy favor to blacks? Ya’ll really think that this provides some type of leverage to black people, particularly black men, huh? Our people are under a divine curse from the Most High which can only be solved by returning to him in the spirit of truth, not to some contrived watchdog like Obama. You know what it is too man? Ya’ll dudes like to hear the truth but you hate to accept it (Isaiah 30:9,10, Ezek 33:30-32). Anyone who does REAL research can see what this is about.
@CommonGround
The same applies to you as well, brother or sis (whatever you are). Due to the fact that most black people’s minds are not trained, they react to everything emotionally i.e. “Meat” and “Dukesman”. Negroes think that an “Uncle Tom” is anyone that doesn’t want the white man’s sloppy seconds, lol. Total lack of understanding of what is going on around them. What’s funny to me is that negroes like that will be the same ones with a stupid look on their face when what was obvious becomes apparent to all. Our people can’t even stop from killing each other, much less “coming together” with all races. You see all races “coming together” because they want the wickedness of America to continue so that they can have a place to fulfill their lusts. This is where women have the right to kill infants and men have the right to have sex with animals and each other. “Chains are broken” when they’re put on the people that put them on you (Psalms 149:6-9). Not when you can hold hands and sing with the same devils that have you in the perverted state of mind that you’re in (Prov 11:21).
