okay lets get this straight you might not know your genetics or biology but if someone is white 100% and they have a baby with a BLACK person. The baby is biracial, not black and not white. I’m just happy that Obama got elected because I think he’s the best man for the job. It was the people that got him elected not some conspiracy theory crap. If Obama does not live up to his promises like he said, then we will hold him accountable. Part of what got him in the white house in the first place is his charisma. The man can talk a good talk and very smart. Again, let’s just hope he lives up to his words.

I still remember the exact moment when I read on the TV screen that Barack Obama was president elect… I could not stop saying oh my GOD as the tears from my face streamed down. my best friend and I were both on the phone crying at the same time and to see jesse jackson and oprah winfrey and so many others cry I realized that this was something that we were all experiencing together as a people it made me so PROUD!!!. I would like to clear up a few things on here. first and foremost BARACK OBAMA is a black man. It was the Jim crow law that said if you have one ounce of black in you then you are considered black. anybody that’s is black and was born in america and the people before them have been mixed with something none of us are fully black that is why we don’t look like our ancestors neither does BARACK. BARCK is WHITE AND AFRICAN basically he represents what every black person in america is so to those of you saying he’s half white or african quit with the non sense and recongnize him for what he is I never hear BARACK SAY AS A WHITE MAN OR AS A AFRICAN MAN HE SAYS AFRICAN AMERICAN OR BLACK IF YOU DON’T LIKE IT TAKE IT UP WITH HIM AND HIM NON AFRICAN AND NON WHITE WOMAN HE MARRIED! I cried, cried, cried, cried…& my tears flowed uncontrollably. I was in SHOCK, disbelief, I was HAPPY, the thoughts of all the people who died, suffered, got beat up, lynched (killed), hosed down, spit on, forced to use shitty bathrooms and dirty water faucets, sitting to the back of the buses, not allowed to eat at the counters of restaurants, we could not VOTE, we got the worst or no education at all. All the black people that took shit for years off those EVIL white people during those times.

I can go even DEEPER into our BLACK HISTORY (the history the WHITE PEOPLE HATE for us to bring up or show images of on TV, they wished we would just forget about )– we were DISRESPECTED to GREAT levels. We were STOLEN from our homelands & brought here to this country, packed on ships, sold for pennies wearing no clothes & locked in chains, whipped until their skin was opened, our women was RAPED (for years & years) by these EVIL white men, black people worked ther asses off in this country, while the white people STOLE all of our VALUABLE natural resources, they took credit for many of the INVENTIONS of BLACK PEOPLE as well. We were portrayed on television as IGNORANT, DUMB, FILTHY, STUPID, used for ENTERTAINMENT purposes or they got roles on TV as MAIDS/BUTLERS & of course we were called “NIGGER” as if it was all of our actual first names. & OMG, lets not forget there was the KKK.

*YOU THINK OF ALL OF THESE THINGS as OBAMA is announced NATION WIDE as the PRESIDENT of THE UNITED STATES & it is just soooo over whelming, you just start crying…Most of us WEPT. WHY? This was what Dr. Kings I HAVE A DREAM speech predicted. It came true on so many levels on November 4, 2008. The countries all over the world CELEBRATED our new leader as they got the news. To hell with the REPUBLICAN DYNASTY—GOODBYE BUSH!! It literally feels like a WEIGHT was lifted off of our shoulders. All of our ANCESTORS, all the people who MARCHED with Dr. King, all the people who died (black & white) for the cause.. (If you were white & tried to help black people in any way, you would be treated just like the black people (Both JFK & Robert KENNEDY were assassinated partly because of this—so it went on for years- The friendly white people that cared for the poor minority & black people–wont live too long back then if they were caught) . But It all was NOT in vein. Its difficult to explain, but its almost like OBAMA was meant to be the LEADER, like the spot was his to begin with. He is the REAL LIFE image (his family as well) of a BLACK MAN who:
1. EDUCATED/SMART
2.has COMMON SENSE
3. EXTREMELY INTELLIGENT
4. has the ability to SPEAK & COMMUNICATE
5.He is a GOD FEARING CHRISTIAN man.
6. LOVES & RESPECTS his WIFE & 2 CHILDREN & the list goes on & on.

I am just so PROUD that I among so many others. have been soooo BLESSED to see this day, in this life time. Growing up in a black household in bedford stuyvesant Brooklyn NY. With a single mother from the South. I have heard her childhood stories & I have seen it all in my Bed-Stuy neighborhood. Obama this man is a shining example, of what a REAL MAN is. I hope this VOTING experience is the beginning of a new generation to come.

*I hope this new President allows young BLACK MEN to wake the hell up, get off these streets, put down these guns, & start doing something POSITIVE with your life. There are no more excuses black people (can’t blame “THE MAN” anymore for keeping you down) Look no further than the mirror for that answer. GET yourselves together. It is a NEW DAY. I can finally say this & mean it whole heartedly …GOD BLESS AMERICA.

*WE NEED TO DO SOMETHING TO HELP BRING “BLACK HISTORY” into schools all over the world. Black History needs to be Mandated in all schools, Elementary to High school. BLACK History doesn’t need to be hiden from the world. Its an “UGLY TRUTH” of what AMERICA use to be & in some states & countrries still is. Our children need to know that there were plenty of BLACK inventors, & blacks that have made EXTRAORDINARY accomlishments in this world other than Dr. King or Malcolm X. As a mother of 2 children I make it my duty to educate them on BLACK HISTORY because the school system doesn’t do it. These children need to know the History of Black America, rather than the White American History (full of lies & untruth. they took credit for alot of what the black people achieved).

I feel like I’m still in a dream. It hasn’t truly registered that he will be the next president of the united states on january 20th. I am not sure how long it will take until I really realize he is president. It’s amazing. I’m so proud to be an American for the first time in my adult life. I feel Michelle on this one.

This is truly a spectacular moment in history and no matter what Judah or anyone else not feeling what we are feeling says, this is something so completely euphoric you want to freeze it in time and relive it over and over and over again. On Tuesday night when I saw the electoral count go from 207 to 297, I was actually speechless. I sat there immobile as tears just slid down my face. I wanted to scream, yell, shout and just lose my mind. From the first time I heard Barack speak in person, I knew he was destined to be president. I doubted Virginia going blue but I never doubted he would win. I am so proud and feel so blessed to be experiencing this historic moment–the first Black (and yes he is black because he’s been on the cover of Jet, Ebony, and Essence magazines–need I say more) president of the United States of America. This could very well be a once in a lifetime moment and I feel sorry for anyone who can not see the beauty in that and not want to celebrate it.

I know technically his mom is white, but so is Halle Berry’s and guess what? She considers herself black and so does AMERICA. Same thing goes for Barack. He will always be considered the first black man to become president, note the news organizations are not saying he’s the first Bi-racial president.
