I really enjoyed the awards. It seems to me they gave a lot of blacks awards. I was shocked to see Chris Brown winning best Pop/Rock and Artist of the Year. Go Chris! I watched Beyonce’s performance because I thought it was going to be the high light of the show but I can’t really decide on which performance was the best.

Beyonce killed it! Any chick that can perform her choreograpy in hells and sing live and sound good and engage a crowd is a very talented woman in my book. Plus I’m feeling the all female band *no homo* I’m just saying it’s good to see women killing it!

Rihanna, you looked cute and you sounded better but I just don’t see your star quality. I’m not hating, you can compare her performance to all the one’s posted and her’s was the most boring. Fire + Fog doesn’t always = a hot performance.

Kanye’s was good. I’m not feeling the direction that he’s taking musically now a days but it was a dope performance.

Mariah Carey lol. Idk why I want to hear her perform “We Belong Together”. I was lol when I saw her look @ herself on the screen a fix her hair. I think it’s @ the 2:19 mark or something like that lol.

PINK! Damn! I’ve never heard that Sober song but I was feeling it. She straight gave me chills. I almost cried when she did the duet w/ Sarah. She’s truly talented and slept on.

NE-YO! I can see why R. Kelly was hating. You brought the damn house down! I loved the 20’s flapper feel w/ the finger waves and band and dance moves and suits, etc. It was hot and you killed it. Performers are able to incorporate dancing and singing @ the same time and look good while doing it. Ne-yo is so damn talented. I wanna go out and get his album now.

A.KEYS! What I love most about her performances are the fact that she’s so unselfish. Remember when she did the performance when she brought out SWV, TLC and EnVogue? She’s always sharing the stage w/ other talented women and I love that about her. She also usually incorporates some history in her performances. The verse that the Queen spit was Fyre and she looked cute. The Opera singer was on point too. Imma have to google her.

All in all judging from the performances this was a really good show and I’m kinda pissed I missed it
