First and foremost, some of you are so BLIND to the fact that Tina Knowles has gotten a major FACELIFT! She does look soooooooooo much better though (it makes her look a lot younger)!

I really don’t see where Beyonce looks so beautiful in these pics! Her face and make-up is nice, but that dress with those shoulder puffs is not the business (it looks a MESS), not to mention that christmas decorated bow belt she’s rockin lol! Carmen Ejogo’s (whoever that is) potato sack dress is atrocious ( absolutely not the business)! Chyna Layne (whoever that is) looks like she rolled outta bed and got dressed lol, and that pink is last season (she looks a MESS), but those shoes are hot! Lauren London looks nice, but I would have picked a different color shoe to rock with that dress. Jeffrey Wright’s suit is waaaay to snug and sloppy on him (he needs a bigger size). Etta James gets a pass from me due to her age after all these years (God bless her), and her family is beautiful!

Everyone else looks nice….Gabrielle Union looks statuesquely RADIANT and FABULOUS from her head down to her shoes (she wins best dressed hands down)!!

I’m interested to see what Beyonce does with the “Etta James” role. Bey hasn’t wowed me with her acting chops in the past, but this just might be the break-out role she’s been waiting for. She resembles Etta a bit, for real!

As for the red carpet, nobody totally embarassed themselves (except maybe for Chyna Layne). Beyonce and Gabrielle both look smashing from head to toe. (Love Gabby’s dress!!) Sanaa and Lauren are both naturally stunning ladies … love their makeup and hair, but their dresses aren’t blowing me away. Tina Knowles is one good-looking woman! You really notice how pretty she is when she ditches the fire-engine-red lipstick. Jeffrey’s suit looks a bit tight/small, and it seems like his wife tried to throw too many trends together all at once (bubble dress, booties, etc.) They make a nice couple, though.

The trailer, video clips and web sites market this movie like it is the Etta James story, but Beyonce is not the main character and has very little screen time. Just like Dreamgirls, she is marketing this movie like she owns it and she is campaigning for that Oscar award. Word of advice to Mrs. Knowles-Carter, you don’t dominate the movie business like you do the music biz. Keep you mouth shut, your eyes open and let your work speak for itself.

Tina looks SO much better without that red lipstick!!!!!!!!! Thank goodness she finally took it off! Now she looks younger. In that picture with her and Etta, they look like they could be related. I think Etta would have benefited from not wearing that bright red lipstick either.
