TRL vjs – old and new - pose for a photo at the final episode of MTV’s Total Request Live on Sunday night. The finale featured numerous stars who helped celebrate the close of the 10-year music countdown series.
Guests that rolled through included Beyonce, Diddy, 50 Cent, Justin Timberlake, Snoop Dogg, Ludacris, Nelly, Teyana Taylor, Cassie, and former TRL vj Lala Vasquez. Watch all the performances that aired on the finale over at mtv.com.

I feel old, I used to love TRL back in the day..i wouldn’t miss it for anything..I even remember recording episodes where my favorite artists would be on(back then it was *N SYNC) lol..to think that if I was to talk to someone of a younger generation about TRL, they probably wouldn’t understand how big of a deal it was, time flies…
I guess they had to retire the show since 106th & Park trumped them on viewer audience, just as the BET Awards has surpassed the MTV Awards. Is that show next too, Viacom?

It was my favorite channel back in the 90′s. Back then it was daring, groundbreaking and always broke new talent. Now it’s A CROCK OF SHIT. Reality TV crap, stupid celebrity shows, the same tired ass videos (whenever they acutally play music).
MTV IS A JOKE TODAY!! A disgrace to music and what it used to be about.

Its been years since i stopped being a fan of the show, but to everyone who grew up on boy bands, britney, and eminem this show will represent a part of our lives.i remember going to nyc went eminem showed up when he released the eminem show and tryin to see him, but i didnt even get close! cuz there were so many people!!
