There are far more black famous men, rappers with white or light/bright than famous white men and white women would have a problem with it if the shoe was on the only foot. You can’t compare MC Serch and Paul Wall to Brad Pitt, Tom Cruise, etc. 2 white rappers and its kumbayah, yeah right. You se you had to reach way back to find that example. A famous black woman can’t get a date in Hollywood and have to get with white men because thay are overlooked or not taken seriously by black men of their caliber. And if black rappers don’t pimp black women, then you must have had your head in the sand during the Hip Hop vs America summits where one of the chief complaints were the pimping and degredation and stereotyping of black women in rap videos. Wake Up! Don’t give me that “especially from a black woman like yourself” crap. I am a light skinned woman myself so you don’t know what you talking about. If this bothers you so much I hope you are being active in your neighborhoods annd volunteering with organizations that involve children. That’s where this starts as well as being a positive role model. I wouldn’t know much about videos because in my house we don’t watch that junk. Who others are married too doesn’t rock my world. If it’s a BS relationship, that person who sought out someone just because she’s bright, white or whatever will end up suffering in the end.
