Check out “Bed” singer J. Holiday’s first single from his forthcoming sophomore album, due out in the spring of 2009. The track was produced by Big Reese and Jasper Cameron, who also had a hand in one of my favorites, “Promise” by Ciara.
I actually really like this song, but like I’ve always said about J. Holiday. I’m hoping that this single is representative of the rest of the material on his album. On Back of My ‘Lac, I wasn’t really impressed with the majority of his songs, aside from the singles, and one of my other favorites, “Fatal.”

This song is a rip off the Lloyd’s song Have My Baby!!!! It’[s on the new Cd. its sang the exact same way. These artists have no originality anymore. I am so tired of hearing recycled beats and recycled lyrics.

I LOVE LOVEthis track..just heard it randomly yesterday and i havent stopped listening to it.
Trust when I say I stan for J, I really do. Love him dearly. But this is his only song that has disappointed me. I halfway like the lyrics but the beat and the autotune/vocoder is a FAIL. And he has an amazing voice…seriously wtf is this? Its the single? Why cant the single be Fly or The Way It Was? They are much better songs. Sorry for the long reply but this made me angry.

This sounds like Llloyd, “have my baby.” Shot out to Lloyd, one of the most underated artist out there. His CDs are always hot.
Very nice song, but I agree with Brian about J.Holiday’s album material. His last one was a bit of a dissapointment based on the strong singles. He’s lucky to always come across with solid singles tho, so good luck to him!

I like the song but I think it was intended for Lloyd. In the begining on the song it says Street Love which is Lloyd’s trademark and it sounds like it was meant for someone with more of a falsetto. Plus it would fit with the Lessons in Love album.
J.holiday sounds f’n great in this song! He is not stealing any of lloyds songs they just had their songs produced by the same ppl(so blame the prducers) he sounds way betta than lloyd anyway…this song is HOT! HOT! HOT!….keep it up J!!!
