Beyonce covers the December/January issue of Seventeen magazine and was awarded their “Style Star Of The Year”. In the issue, the singer/actress talks about her personal style, dating Jay-Z since she 19, and how she hopes to obtain that Oscar in 10 years.

I think Beyoncé can get away with being on the cover of Seventeen magazine because she is an excellent role model. Even though I know she gave the business to a couple other cats- she is sold in the media as having good morals, being with Jayz and keeping out of the “negatives” of the industry. As a mother of teenage girls and a high school teacher I have no problem with Beyonce on the cover of Seventeen Magazine. Both my daughters are great fans of Beyonce and she has represented herself in a good manner within the public eye. She has become a huge success and gifted with multiple talents. She is an ideal person for the Seventeen Magazine……the young lady is making great strides in music, movies, campaigns, endorsements and business. Beyonce is an excellent choice to cover Seventeen Magazine. I’ll buy both my girls a copy.

—No u ain’t lying at all! I I think Toni B and Halle were both gorgeous when they first came out and had their old noses and short cropped hair. You KNOW u r a BAAAD chick when u can rock a short cropped do and still be HOT! They both did that! Toni has sold out to compete with the Beyonce’s of today by always being half naked. When she made videos back in the day she was totally covered and I think more respected too. But back to the topic. Whatever folks say about Will and Jada what they have works for them. Their children seem so normal for Hollywood kids too.

Yes, Beyonce is too old to be on the cover of seventeen magazine. The magazine’s target audience are early & late teenagers, and they using vie for celebs that are role model-esque. And lets be honest, Beyonce does not fit that description. And, who the hell does the voting when it come to winning these awards for style? I mean, how in a hell did Beyonce win this? Because wearing a tacky Tina ensemble–does not a fashionista make!
