Everything she does seems so contrived and unnatural for her. These photos look too posed and forced…..She tries so hard to do everything and be everything; it’s not possible.

No wonder she’s having breakdowns….i think she got serious issues of wanting to be perfect, when she’s no where near it. I saw beyonce perform “If I was boy” and it was not anywhere as good as B.C. Jean singing her own damn song. There is nothing believable about beyonce. She seems like she tries to act her way through everything but is a bad actress and does not sell it to the people. She just seems like an empty vessel with nothing inside of her. I have no idea what she is about and she’s been on the scene for many years. I also agree with TeTe about what she shows to her fans. I really think she actually believes that she’s on Michael Jackson’s level and like she needs to be mysterious but the truth of the matter is the fact that she just seems souless. She does not come across as being iconic she just seems boring and like a person who lacks any real substance. Someone brought up alicia keys in another topic, and that is what the defining difference is between Mary, Alicia and Beyonce, Alicia and Mary have real life experiences. Beyonce is just a sheltered woman who shows nothing except the Ms. wanna be perfect to the world. That is not interesting. When she performed that song “If I was a Boy’ she broke into a smile at the end..It’s supposed to be a sad/heartbreak type of song, it calls for real meaning. Beyonce can’t truly connect with the emotions of the song so she comes across fake by smiling at the end. I wanted to see some real emotion and she should have stayed in the moment with the song. The smile just killed it. That is another example of how beyonce see’s her career. She just does anything that she thinks is conveying a certain image, even in her music, even if its nothing real that she experienced and that’s why she is seen as fake.

The pics are just another example of beyonce trying to push a fake image of herself. She wants the public to believe what she wants them to believe about her. But its not real and this is why blogs and people making comments have turned on her. People are just sick of her and when you are fake people can see it. Even Oprah said the camera does not lie, people can tell when you are not being real. She told Tyra that was the best advice she could give her when she started her talk show. Tyra isn’t taking that advice and neither is beyonce. Fakeness.

She is chilling. She’s not stressed. She’s managing to make millions of dollars without all the heavy lifting that will drive beyonce over the edge into a nervous breakdown. Rihanna is not the one struggling to stay ahead of the game, she’s got vets like beyonce shook up trying to keep up and trying to redefine themselves to counter act the affect Rihanna has had on the business.

This is why beyonce wants to be an icon and not an “it girl”/ Rihanna is now the it girl, she has no choice but to reshuffle her priorities. Her game is almost over and she knows it. Trying to be an icon just means I know I’m no longer the hottest chick in the game so I must redefine myself as an icon. Oh well in her mind she’s an icon but her music and her struggle with her weight, and her lack of style this time out does not make her look like an icon, but it does make her look like a washed up singer past her prime.

Normally, an artist shows growth in their music, I do not see any growth with Beyonce. Beyonce is fat BY HOLLYWOOD STANDARDS and she knows it. She claims to have had to do something to gain this weight, but that’s a lie. All she had to do is eat a “normal” meal and she would gain weight. She is always on a diet and that’s why her weight fluctuates so much. She is naturally a veryyyyy big girl, and what we see right now is a result of her dieting. If she stopped dieting, she would naturally be the size of jennifer hudson or jordan sparks. She said her role in dreamgirls didn’t require her to be as thin as she got for the film, well then why did she take the dieting so far? I like Janet Jackson, but Janet is naturally a big girl as well. She diets constantly, except when she’s outta the sight of her fans. But at least she’s honest about her weight struggles……..Beyonce wants to give us the impression she had to do something miraculous to gain weight for this film, but of course that’s not the reality……Janet is honest about her weight issues, but because Beyonce want’s to be on the scene constantly, you can see the evidence her weight struggles. She’s up one day, and down the next week, which tells you she has done alot of extreme dieting. You can also see the lipo suction evidence on her stomach….ever notice you never really see abs on beyonce? Her stomach at times is flat and spray painted ab lines, but never where you can see the real abdominal lines….that’s cause it was the result of surgery and not working out…if you worked out to get and keep your stomach flat, you would definitely see the abdominal lines.

I think people would like her genuinely if she was more of a genuine person herself. Her fans admire her, but she cannot truly relate to her fans.

who said i was sitting in church thinking about her? that is what the pastor said in relation to EVERYBODY and he even said that no matter who you vote for on tuesday or who you don’t vote for, it is God who is ultimately choosing the president because God wants that person to fulfill his purpose. this has nothing to do with being a stan, i’m reiterating what the pastor said about why everyone is in the position they are in today. it was a good sermon and applied to this topic because people were literally telling the woman to go sit down somewhere as if they have some power. once again, nothing to do with being a stan because although i dislike rihanna as a musician, i said what the pastor said relates to her too and therefore, i can no longer judge why she is in the postion she is now. i thank you for talking the time to read my post though!

Rihanna has made an small notch on the market but to be honest, half of her apppeal is based on image and not talent. No matter how much smoke you want to blow up her butt she had to work triple time to catch up to Bey’s career 2 years ago and to be honest, I’m not anticipating much now that her GGGB era is coming to a close. She’s done entirely to much in a short span and there hasn’t been any room for growth or improvement as an artist. I can actually go back and see the steps from teen to woman with Bey that is non-existant with Rihanna, who’s gone from a cute bubbly girl to Grace Jones-esqe dominatrix almost overnight.
