Beyonce recently expressed her desire to be the first black Wonder Woman:
“What would be better than Wonder Woman?” she tells the Los Angeles Times. “It would be great. And it would be a very bold choice. A black Wonder Woman would be a powerful thing. It’s time for that, right?”
The singer-actress, 27, has met with representatives at DC Comics and Warner Bros. to discuss donning the red, white and blue bathing suit on screen, she says.
“After doing these roles that were so emotional I was thinking to myself, ‘OK, I need to be a superhero,’” Beyoncé tells the Times. “Although, when you think about the psychology of the heroes in the films these days, they are still a lot of work, of course, and emotional. But there’s also an action element that I would enjoy.” SOURCE
Warner Bros. has been planning a Wonder Woman film for some time now, but there’s no word on who will be playing the big role.
NOTORIOUS NATURI AS LIL KIM
Former 3LW member Naturi Naughton channels her Queen Bee role for the cover of KING magazine’s newest issue. The now broadway actress plays rapper Lil Kim in the upcoming biopic “Notorious”, which is based on the life and career of the late Notorious B.I.G.
The film also stars Jamal Woodlard, Angela Bassett, Derek Luke, and Anthonie Mackie. “Notorious” will hit US theaters on January 16th, 2009.

Will Smith‘s son Jaden Smith is set to star in the remade version of “The Karate Kid”.
The film will be produced by Jerry Weintraub (who launched the original franchise) and Overbrook Entertainment – Will’s production company.
Jaden first debut was in the 2006 film “The Pursuit of Happyness”, which his Dad served as the star and producer as well. The film is said to start shooting next year in Beijing and other cities, following the same plot as the original.
Little Jaden, who next stars in “The Day the Earth Stood Still” is already up for the role – word is he’s martial arts practitioner.
Beyonce is a horrible actress. I seriously doubt she’d get that part.
