Jamie Foxx reveals the album cover for his new release, Intuition, which hits stores December 16th, just a few weeks after the official release of his T.I.-assisted single.
The new album contains productions from Tricky Stewart & The Dream, as well as Timbaland, hitmaker Ne-Yo, as well as Sean Garrett, and Salaam Remi. Even though I haven’t really been blown away by much of the material that’s leaked, I think this new album will be good for Jamie, considering that we haven’t heard anything from him musically since 2005′s hugely successful Unpredictable.
BEYONCE LINES UP 2 NEW SINGLES
Still on the promotional trail for her new album, I Am… Sasha Fierce, Beyonce, who first released the singles “If I Were A Boy” and “Singles Ladies,” is lining up two new singles in hopes of topping the charts once again.
It was originally reported that the second single from the Sasha Fierce side of the disk would be “Ego,” featuring none other than the ego man himself, Kanye West. However, with recent charting of the Bangladesh-produced, Sean Garrett-penned “Diva,” (it’s already charted on the Billboard R&B/Hip-Hop) has sat plans in new motion.
The Ryan Tedder-assisted “Halo” will be the second single from the more intimate I Am… side. Rumor has it that Beyonce had casting calls early this week in LA to find the leading man and that videos will be shot soon. I’m sure that the video for “Halo” will be gorgeous, but I’m interested to see what this “Diva” video will look like.
Also, it seems that many retailers were sold out of the album this week, and that Beyonce is expected to debut at #1 and reach gold status, selling over half a million copies.
SNOOP PREPS CHRISTMAS ALBUM?
Some interesting news! Snoop Dogg, who has lately been hanging out with Martha Stewart, revealed on her show that he was working on a non-traditional Christmas album that gives new meaning to the phrase “ho, ho, ho.”
“I’m putting out a Christmas record,” he told Martha. When questioned if this would be a rap album, he said, “I got a couple of R&B songs, but they’re just a lil’ bit different.”
Snoop has previously recorded holiday songs including “Santa Claus Goes Straight to the Ghetto” and “Santa Baby,” so this is nothing new for Snoop. However, there is no announcement on a release date. I don’t know how that’s going to work, considering that Christmas is right around the corner!

I cannot cosign on this one. The only songs that I like are the songs that are already out. That cd was a HUGE disappointment to me! Maybe I’m alone on this one but I am not pleased with this rush job album. Bey, you can do better sweetheart.
And “Santa Baby” was a CLASSIC record. I wish more rappers got on stuff like that again.

About Beyonce, I can’t believe that nobody has said yet how messed up it is that she just sold Jay Z out for record sales. Her Dad said everything was planned out and they covered all bases,they wanted to make her an icon… Anybody with an iota of sense knows that means HE BARTERED INFO ABOUT HER WEDDING FOR MAGAZINE COVERS. And she wanted to talk about that wedding because it 1. CREATED BUZZ FOR HER RECORD and 2. MEANT, AS I SAID, THAT PUBLICATIONS WOULD BE INTERESTED IN HAVING HER ON THE COVER and finally 3. THAT SHE WOULD LOOK ACCESSIBLE AND DOWN TO EARTH AND IN THAT WAY MORE BELIEVABLE AS AN ACTRESS (TRYING TO GET THE OSCAR).
I’m shocked nobody has said anything about that yet. Poor Jay Z…he’s all in magazines talking about that’s his peace of mind, keeping that private and she and her Dad sell it as a part of her media blitz. I feel sorry for her husband – the man had two or three record debut strong on the charts and fall into oblivion and not once did he sell her out in interviews to garner much-needed buzz but she has an album coming out and is trying to move units and solidify herself as an icon and she totally sells him out! Ahhh fake, fake, fake! This whole campaign of tying her album to her movie and pushing toward an Oscar through icon status is just ridiculous. And Jay Z looks like an idiot in all of it!!
But about the topic at hand, Jamie’s got a great voice though his material is a bit..I don’t know. Beyonce isn’t fooling anybody – she isn’t bringing out “Ego” because Kanye made not one but two statements about Rihanna owning the pop scene… After the first statement, in which he said Rihanna made Beyonce step her game up even more, and the flurry that resulted he went on to make ANOTHER, affirming Rihanna as “arguably the biggest artist in the world.” There’s no way that really low brow song would be the next single just as Oscar short lists are being tabulated otherwise. And Snoop lost me many years ago, I’m afraid.
Halo is my jam I was looking forwards to Ego, but Diva is already getting play in the clubs so Why not release it?
And I loved the whole album only song I am not feeling is Thats Why You’re Beautiful, I just wish that she made the album one disc

I heard diva today after all the hype around it, and i was shocked at how bad it is. call me a hater but thats my honest opinion, i just don’t get what everyone else is hearing? it was dreadful, and it did remind me of that lil wayne song but i guess that must have been deliberate.
