Keyshia Cole will release her new album, A Different Me just in time for Christmas on December 16th. The album is led by the single, “Playa Cardz Right,” featuring the late Tupac Shakur.
But it seems as though our friends at Rap-Up.com have confirmed that Kanye West and Nas will make guest appearances, and the album will also feature a duet with Atlanta native, and close friend, Monica.
All of the songs on the Oakland native’s latest effort were written or co-written by her with production from producers such as Ron Fair, Polow Da Don, Trackmasters, The Runners, Kwame, and Neffu.
In the mean time, while you wait for Keyshia’s new album, you can tune into the new season of her reality show, The Way It Is on BET every Tuesday night.

Pop princess Rihanna gives us a little sliver of her new video from her new single from Good Girl Gone Bad, “Rehab,” featuring Justin Timberlake, who co-wrote the track with producer Timbaland (view photos from the set here).
Rihanna really has milked this album for everything that its worth! “Rehab” was one of my favorite tracks from the album, so I’m definitely not mad at her! The video, directed by Alan Furgeson, should be released any day now.
JAY-Z SAYS NO TO BLUEPRINT 3
The rumors swarmed in this January that famed rapper Jay-Z would release a new album, Blueprint 3, via the DJ Clue mixtape, I Am Legend, but blogs were quickly hushed that it wasn’t true, even with the new song, “Ain’t I.”
But then it seemed that blogs reported that Timbaland was to produce the helm of Jay-Z’s new album and that he’d be going for a more “worldly” sound, and that it would be like no other material that we’d heard from Hov. But then, the track “Jockin’ Jay-Z,” produced by Kanye West arrived and it seems as though the reports switched, and Kanye would be resposible for most of the production.
Now, even with the leaks of “Swagger Like Us,” and the newest addition, “History,” it seems that the speculations of Jay-Z releasing an album come Christmas have ended. No album will be delivered by December.
“I never said that. I don’t know where that comes from,” Jay-Z told Angie Martinez on Hot 97 last week.
Kanye West also gave MTV News a statement about the progress on Jay’s album:
“He wanted to do a few more joints, so he kinda pushed it back. Now we’re gonna go in and just work on some more records.”
Well, I guess we’ll just have to wait. I’m wondering what the album will sound like, though, considering there have been so many people claiming that they’re producing for Jay. Now that these claims are being dismissed, I wonder if the album will even be titled Blueprint 3 at this point. We’ll see.
