Just a couple of weeks away from its release, the full version of Beyonce’s third studio, I Am… have surfaced on the internet. You can now preview the entire album. The double disc will drop November 18th, in two formats. One version will be a deluxe edition, with extra songs.
Beyonce co-wrote all the songs on I Am… with production from Rodney Jerkins, Mr. Bangladesh, Tricky Stewart & The Dream, Stargate, Amanda Ghost, and many more. The album, from what I gathered, is pretty impressive. I expected to love the Sasha Fierce side moreso than the Beyonce side of the album, but I was pleasantly surprised.
KERI HILSON PUSHED BACK AGAIN
Unfortunately, Billboard.com has reported that Keri Hilson’s debut album, In A Perfect World…, originally slated for September 23rd release, then pushed back to November, and then December 9th has been pushed back again, all the way to “early 2009.”
Keri, who just released a video for the Timbaland-produced second single, “Return the Favor” and recently just shot a video for her third single, the Lil’ Wayne-assisted “Turnin’ Me On,” has been writing for a while now, and had fans excited to finally get a glimpse of Keri as an artist for a while now, but it seems as though now we’re going to wait just a little while longer.
In A Perfect World… will contain productions from Timbaland, Polow Da Don, Royal Court as well as newcomer Cory Bold, with cameos from Lil’ Wayne, Timbaland, Tank, Akon and R. Kelly
“I didn’t want to do an album that painted me perfect,” she said. “What’s missing in music is just that: showing the vulnerable side of women, the real. Showing women you can be yourself. You don’t have to walk around like your sh*t doesn’t stink.”
Well, Keri… I hope to hear a solid release date sooner than later, because I don’t want her fans to start to get discouraged or lose interest.
MARIO PREPS NEW ALBUM
Mario is prepping and putting the finished touches on his upcoming fourth album, which is currently untitled. Mario mentioned before that he was working with a few producers to make a more cohesive effort, so he’s been in the studio with the likes of Rodney ‘Darkchild’ Jerkins, Tricky Stewart, Babyface, Stargate, Polow Da Don and KP Malay to bring you this new album.
Mario describes this album as the “most personal, colossal album of his career.” The album will drop at the top of 2009 via J. Records.
Its amazing how haters will continue to rise from the sands of jealousy and regret. Beyonce is an artist, hands down. No one salutes the queen of Rock Tina Turner without being a star themselves. Beyonce is still a very young woman and she has time to be timeless with her music. At this point in her life she is working a God given talents which include catchy pop tunes, hott dance tracks, and beautiful visual videos that showcase her amazing body, voice and theatrics. She will have plenty of time to do Gerswin and tribute albums saluting Nancy Wilson and Nina Simone. I think the reason they keep pushing Keri Hilson back is because she is a light flicker of Beyonce and they know she will get overshadowed by the Queen B. Real Talk. Beyonce is a force: Motion Pictures, Live Shows, Best Selling Female Group of All time, Billboard Favorite, Awesome. Like it or Leave It….I Like It and Love It!
Beyonce does not have timeless music if Get Me Bodie and Single Ladies classify as timeless the that suxx!!! She has some childish music maybe.. I don’t see her as an Icon..
I love Mario he is one of the best young singers out there that can really sing. Now on to Beyonce, her Beyonce c.d. is flat and boring to me but the Sash Fierce is just that FIERCE. Diva and video phone will be two of the hottest club bangers to end out the year mark my words.

i understand there are people who love Beyonce no matter what trash she puts out but come on this is not good.music. for an artist that feels she is better than every other female act with her new found cockiness, this sub par and often annoying album doesnt even sound like it took too much effort.. some of the songs on this album insults my intelligence. you can make pop songs with out it being mindless and you can make ballads with out them being dry and boring. i like the first and second album, but this one i could do with-out.shit im going to put out an album if its this easy to take peoples money.

It has stepped up VOCALLY and Lyrically. Vocally only accredited to her. Many of her songs were written by others on this LP. Which is unlike Bey. But hey.
It send good messages minus the Video phone, Diva. It was really Love/Independence in relationships/Heartbreaks.
Many of the songs have a European/ Int’l Vibe to them.
Although many of the songs on the Beyonce side are similar , the Sasha Fierce side isnt so FIERCE, more hood and just pop songs. I think its a great album for Beyonce. Better then Bday. It will be a classic for her and I wouldnt be surprised if this is her biggest week opener. Potentially her best seller.
Also why bring up other artists ONLY to demean them! Like Ciara and Rhianna. Please stop the hatred. I view all of them as super artist and are the force of POP/RnB of Black women now.

I havent listened to the album in full but unlike everyone else I dont like Halo it is waaaay to Leona Lewis-esque , but I think her vocals on Ava Maria and Dissapear are amazing. Although I am a Beyonce’ fan I can admit I dont love every joint on the album but with most of her albums like DIL and B’day I didnt love every track on them either but when I do like songs on her album I absolutely love them . I think its good she is tryna move out the box and mix genres and Im not surprised with people’s reaction to her album, like the saying goes you cant please 100% of the people 100% of the time if she did straight up R&B people would say she hasnt grown and now shes swtichin it up people are saying she lost her swag. I LOVE Beyonce’s new album. She always brings it and raises the bar for her replica’s. She’s hitting amazing notes and her voice is like syrup. It flows effortlessly from up-tempo to pop to bluesy jazz to opera to whatever. This album is just off the chain.
