Beyonce’s new album, I Am… Sasha Fierce hits stores November 18th, but the album has found it’s way to the internet, minus a couple of tracks that are being saved for the deluxe edition. Included in these tracks was the second single from the singer’s forthcoming third solo studio album, “Ego.”
Although the album version doesn’t include Kanye West, we learned that the single remix version will feature a verse from Kanye. The track was produced and written by Elvis “BlacElvis” Williams and Harold Lilly, with credits from Beyonce as well. When the song first comes on, I’m not sure where it’s going – but it begins to pick up during the hook. This will be a good follow-up single to “Single Ladies,” as “Halo” will be for “If I Were A Boy.”
I love the play on words. Love it when she sings only w/ the piano. I gotta big ego and I’m sure Jiggaman is feeling this song too lol.

“Ego” is cute but “Halo” is where she really show off her vocal ability. I swear I listened to it at least 30 times on YouTube.

I didnt think I would cop the album at first but more songs I hear the more likely I realize why everyone else is pushing thier albums back. Im not the biggest Bey fan but I always respect artists who push themselves and try to do something different. For that reason alone I will be buying the album…I also like Diva…that is my song.

This is ok, the production is a little different from the rest of what I heard of the album. I also like her vocals near the end, finally something different from her voice box. This could have been anybody’s song though.
