While being on the promo trail for her new album, Human, due out December 9th, Brandy has released a second single, “Long Distance,” the follow-up to the Rodney “Darkchild” Jerkins-produced “Right Here (Departed).” In addition to her second single, she will appear on the third single from John Legend’s new album, “Quickly.”
Here are two new tracks from Brandy: “Torn Down,” produced by Midi Mafia (they are also responsible for “Quickly”), which is one of the more uptempo songs which will appear on Human, as well as as the bonus track, “Gonna Find My Love.” Both of these songs are pretty good. I’m a little disappointed that Brandy isn’t including “Gonna Find My Love” on the album, because so far, it seems as though the tempo of Human will be pretty mid-to-slow.

@5 Everyone does not do something because Beyonce is coming out with an album. I for one will be buying this album. I think you all give Beyonce a little to much credit. This young lady here built her fan base because of her talent. Most of the people on this blog that comments about Beyonce seem to be gay men because I think her core fan base has grown up and she is still making silly music. I saw her perform this weekend on two shows and she is really starting to look old and tired with that silly ass routine of hers. Don’t underestimate Ms. Brandy and her fan base. Beyonce is the on who should have waited before she put out an album because this mess here is a joke.
I’m not feeling these songs but maybe it’s because I’m not feeling uptempo songs in general right now lol….
