Here’s a track that Beyonce left off of the deluxe release of I Am… Sasha Fierce, which hits stores on Tuesday. I actually really like this, even though it feels a bit like Christina Milian’s new single, which she premiered recently on MySpace. I think the concepts sort of reflect eachother slightly. But in any event, I’m digging the song. Again, vocally, Beyonce does not disappoint me on this. I’m interested in production notes though. It sounds like another Rico Love joint, if you ask me.

Tank will always remain one of my favorite male R&B crooners. When I heard that he was working on a new album, a follow-up to Sex, Love & Pain, which I thoroughly enjoyed, I was excited. The material that he’s been coming out with since then has been slightly a blur - a lot of it is very similar, but honestly, I just love Tank’s voice. To me, he’s one of the few male vocalists that really conveys emotion through his songs.
More than a week after voters in California, Arizona and Florida passed ballot initiatives outlawing same-sex marriage, thousands of people across the country protested the bans in simultaneous rallies Saturday.
Joining in on the demonstrations was Comedian Wanda Sykes. She surprised the organizers of the gay rights rally in Las Vegas this weekend by coming out publicly as a lesbian for the first time. Peep the video above..
Speaking of Comedians, Katt Williams, 37, was reportedly taken to a hospital for a mental health evaluation after visiting family members in Sumter, South Carolina on, Friday (Nov. 14), according to The Sumter Item. Before that, the actor and comedian had run-ins with both city and county law enforcement which stirred from a call to police early that morning.
Sumter Police say officers responded to a call in reference to suspicious behavior by Williams at a local hotel. Williams reportedly showed up to the hotel in a bathrobe with a towel wrapper around his head inquiring about a room. Williams later left after asking for directions which police made no arrest at that time due to no crime being broken.
U.S. President-elect Barack Obama resigned his Senate seat on Sunday to focus on the transition to the presidency and thanked Illinois for launching his political career.
In a letter to the state, Obama writes: “Today, I am ending one journey to begin another. I am stepping down as senator to prepare for the responsibilities I will assume as our nation’s next president. But I will never forget, and will forever be grateful to, the men and women of this great state who made my life in public service possible.”
Obama’s resignation means he won’t participate in this week’s session on Capitol Hill that could possibly address the ailing economy and auto industry.
Obama is scheduled to meet with former rival John McCain on Monday which signifies his willingness to work with political rivals as president.

I haven’t really been keeping up with what’s going on with Ciara’s new project, because I’ve heard so much about the release date changing, and I wasn’t really too much of a fan of the first single, “Go Girl!” until the video dropped, but I actually really like “Explode.” I think I like it so much because it is reminiscent of her last first single from Evolution, “Promise,” which was produced by Polow Da Don. This song is definitely really sexy. I’m digging it. But when does Fantasy Ride actually drop?

Check out some more material from Jamie Foxx’s upcoming album, Intuition, due out in December. “Nothin’ From Ya” is produced by Timbaland, who Jamie Foxx worked with previously on Unpredictable with “Can I Take You Home?” I’m not sure I’m digging what Jamie is doing vocally with this song, although I do understand the sound he was going for. I’m starting to get into the song, though, especially the bridge area. Right now, I’m a little unsure and shaky about the direction Jamie’s taking for this new album. I guess we’ll see!
