Based on the Alicia performance with Michelle Obama on the projection screen I think that was the unofficial bid to sing at the innaguration without coming out and desperately begging to do so. First off…I’m a fan of both….I like both of their music and style….I understand the concept of Bey’s album…I understand why some of her videos for this album will be a tad bit to the left….its just a concept….just like Rhianna. Rihanna stated in a recent interview that her next album will be more rock and pop and less R&B. So I’m pretty sure she will dress the part.

Bottom line is this….whether each of you want to admit it or not…there is a sense of insecurity within you when you can sit up and tear down a person piece by piece. Now everyone is entitled to their opinions….that is the purpose of a blog…to share your thoughts on whatever is being discussed….but when you become so deep on a matter…where you tripping off a person’s every move and style to a “T”…something is seriously wrong…especially when you don’t know them personally.

Every artist has their style….if an artist stays the same on every album and never change up…then their audience will become bored…but what I don’t understand about these two…is no matter what THEY do…its wrong. Okay, just some points on what i have been reading.
Beyonce and Rihanna comparison is real boring now. Kanye was right because the two name are said together so often that its unbelievable! If people think Beyonce is the hottest chick in the game Rihanna must be the second… or vice versa depending on who you stan for.

Having a number one album means nothing but commercial music, there were a lot f better albums that were released this year including her sister, Jazmine Sullivan (to name a few) that i am more likley to be listening to in 5 - 10 years time than the disposable music she seems to have a habit of making. I like the I am Cd, but to be honest she brought nothing new to the demo version of If I Was A Boy and the rest of the songs sound like they could’ve been sung by a dozen different singers, I FEEL that she doesn’t really put her stamp on the sound, as for Disk 2 i think she threw those tracks together so as not to lose her “urban” fans and get a backlash. I’m expecting better next time B.

You can’t compare Beyonce, Rihanna, and Alicia. All 3 are totally different.
1. Beyonce has the singing dancing entertainment thing going on, actually comparing Beyonce to Britney would be more accurate.
2. Alicia has this so called song writer/musician thing going, which I don’t think she is that good at, but the standards today are so low people think she is Mozart.
