Sorry it took me so long to get these to you, guys! In any event, here’s some new material from The Dream and Lil’ Jon. If you remember, we posted some info in our music news section about The Dream putting his new album out this December. The album is titled Love vs. Money. “Let Me See the Booty” isn’t anything more than what I expected, especially after I heard the production was courtesy of Lil’ Jon. I’m glad that Tricky Stewart will be responsible for most of the album.

Rich Boy’s first album was pretty cool to me. I was wondering when he’d be coming out with some new material, but I’m a little disappointed with this. Not because of what he’s saying, or his flow, but because it sounds like a complete rip of Lil’ Wayne’s “A Milli,” which garnered him so much success this era. I guess, Rich Boy. Get in where you fit in. I’m hoping that he comes a little stronger for the first single, if he’s planning on dropping a new record any time soon. Because this is just too obvious.

Check out this leaked track from Brandy’s Human sessions. The song, apparently, will not be making the final tracklisting for the new album, due out December 9th, but nonetheless, this is a great Brandy track. Her voice sounds effortless on this, as usual. I’m glad that Brandy has finally started performing her single, “Right Here (Departed),” and she definitely nailed it on TRL last week.

I didn’t really get into the whole “Addicted” or “Diamond Girl” craze and I must admit that I’m pretty disappointed on this underwhelming production for this new Ryan Leslie track, “How It Was Supposed To Be.” Ryan is a talented guy to me, but I think that some people are just more suited behind the scenes. Ryan is definitely one of them for me.

Ok now that I am first:) I will give my opinion of the song… I love Brandy and her vocals are always outstanding, i can see why the song didnt make it though, it is kinda unfinished sounding, the music is really low… Brandy is one of the most underrated artists and i am glad that she is back!! I am also feeling that track with her and John Legend Quickly…
Oh my, if “2nd Thought” didn’t make the final cut of Human, I am super excited about what did. I fell in love with that song in 3 seconds – the melody is beautiful, and Brandy’s voice rides over it perfectly. It does sound a little unfinished, like it wasn’t mastered, but that doesn’t take away from the song itself at all.

So disappointed in the dream….in fact, i’m disappointed with alot of the music out now, it’s so mindless….i can’t believe he actually got a song called let me see the booty….what is the world coming to? I believe music is contributing to the downfall of us as a people. Music influences people’s thoughts, and when you hear something all day that’s mindless is stupid, well no wonder we are going from bad to worse….i swear it’s so hard to listen to the radio anymore, so i don’t. I have a huge collection of cds’s, and i listen to them. And when the industry don’t promote the good music, i go over the music section in Walmart and i buy Tamia, i buy rapheal saadiq, i buy tweet, i buy all the music the industry don’t promote, cause right now they are just promoting mindless music like lil wayne, t-pain, and beyonce…..the music scene is depressing if you listen to the radio.

The Dream-Is he serious with this? This garbage, and he’s always using a repeated a word or syllable in his hooks. It’s so easy to spot that he produced a song. I agree with someone said already, he’s over rated. He sings off key too.
Rich Boy-Yep, he’s trying re-create A Milli and it’s not working. That hook is annoying, but the beat is pretty cool. If he got rid of the girl yodeling on this, it wouldn’t be bad.
Brandy-It’s sound alright, but you can tell it’s unfinished.
Ryan- Medicore, but not bad. I won’t jump the gun and say he should stay behind the scenes. This might be many of his throw away songs, because I have heard some songs from him that I do like.
@8-I totally agree, I boycotted the radio years ago. I only listen to internet radio and find about new music through blogs, because regular radio does a poor job of promoting quality. I don’t see how some people can stand it.

The Dream seems to be delivering consistently with his production lately, and the Brandy track is a winner IMO. I really dig Ryan’s production but something tells me people arent feeling him as an artist which is a shame because he’s a real talent.
