I haven’t really been keeping up with what’s going on with Ciara’s new project, because I’ve heard so much about the release date changing, and I wasn’t really too much of a fan of the first single, “Go Girl!” until the video dropped, but I actually really like “Explode.” I think I like it so much because it is reminiscent of her last first single from Evolution, “Promise,” which was produced by Polow Da Don. This song is definitely really sexy. I’m digging it. But when does Fantasy Ride actually drop?

Check out some more material from Jamie Foxx’s upcoming album, Intuition, due out in December. “Nothin’ From Ya” is produced by Timbaland, who Jamie Foxx worked with previously on Unpredictable with “Can I Take You Home?” I’m not sure I’m digging what Jamie is doing vocally with this song, although I do understand the sound he was going for. I’m starting to get into the song, though, especially the bridge area. Right now, I’m a little unsure and shaky about the direction Jamie’s taking for this new album. I guess we’ll see!

I was a fan of this song before they added The Dream. Even though I was a little disappointed with the video, it didn’t slow down my love for the song. I think I was just interested that Jazmine decided to go for this concept – it was an interesting way to describe her take of a lover scorned. The Dream’s addition to the song doesn’t really move me, as much as I love most of the stuff that he does. This just doesn’t really add anything for me, even thought it’s slightly humorous. Let’s get out a new single, Jazmine!

We announced earlier that our boy Ginuwine, who was originally supposed to be involved with the group TGT (Tyrese, Ginuwine & Tank), was due for a comeback, inking a deal with Notifi Records with distribution on Warner Bros. Well, here’s some new material, produced by none other than the talented Bryan-Michael Cox. Not only is Ginuwine working with B. Cox, it’s also been released that Ginuwine is getting back in the studio with the man that brought him much of his success, Timbaland!

…thas my homie…fellow Riverdale High Alum, lived in almost every damn city IN Atlanta just like me…but her album is getting pushed back and leaked…never a good combo and I thought after “The Evolution” she would have a little more selling power than this but times have changed apparently. We want a singer with a “strong” voice apparently that can dance and sing at the same time…she’s gotta have long hair whether it’s hers or not…fair skin…toned thighs…and somewhat wide hips…she’s gotta think she’s fierce…modeling in magazines any chance she’s offered…she’s gotta saturate the market…no less than 2 videos and singles out at one time…she has to a have a less commercially successful partner by her side that hasn’t been a superstar since their first album…and Rihanna & Beyonce have her beat on all that…she tried with 50 but her hips and thighs just aren’t wide enough…
I’m praying that Fantasy Ride is as good as I want it to be and that she sells 100k in the first week and hits platinum this time next year and stretches her album out cause she needs to re-think her career path. I’ve never seen her this un-controlled…but anywayz I saw her perform the dance for “Explode” (On Youtube) and it’s hot shit so check it out…

I actually like Explode. Smooth for her taste. Definitely wasn’t feeling some of the other material that has leaked from Ciara. Usually I’m a Ciara fan, but I don’t know what to think about Fantasy Ride.

its coming out JAN 09 it was pushed back because she wanted to make sure it was perfect and ready also she is adding more songs. the album will be worth waiting for , because ciara is one of the few artist left that is giving quality music and orignality and there is no way to disagree with that.

I really do luv Cici, got all her albums but I don’t know. This cd right here is making me nervous. The one good thing about these push backs I guess is that she cares about the music she puts out and listens to the fans. We know she reads these blogs and is obviously listening to her fans so she wants to get this album right. That’s a good thing. Her songs especially the singles always grow on me after like 15 listens anyway lol

What Jazmine need right now is “After The Hurricane” released as a single with a video that actually goes with what she is talking about in the song. “Lions, Tigers & Bears” could work to, but they need to hurry up and do something to make up for that crappy video. This remix ain’t making it no better. J. Records is on their way to fucking up another great artist.

The Ciara song is okay. I honestly think this should’ve came out before “go girl” because it seemed like the strategy used for her last album worked so well. I’m still interested in other things from her album, but it’s gonna be hard for her and acts like Ashanti to survive in the R&B realm when you have jazmin sullivan and jennifer hudson taking the charts.
