LONDON (AP) — Rapper Kanye West was arrested after a fracas outside a nightclub but released without charge, British media reported Friday.

The Press Association news agency and others reported that the 31-year-old rapper was detained early Friday after an incident involving a photographer outside the Tup Tup Palace bar in Newcastle, northern England.

Police said only that a 31-year-old man had been arrested on suspicion of assault after an incident at a nightclub. They said he was later released without charge. British police do not usually identify suspects who have not been charged.

The Tup Tup Palace said West visited the club after his gig in Newcastle Thursday but could not confirm the arrest.

A spokeswoman for West did not immediately return a call seeking comment.

West was arrested last month at Los Angeles International Airport after he was filmed struggling with a paparazzo. He was not charged.

West is playing dates around Britain as part of his Glow in the Dark tour.

I saw the Oprah interview and I lived it. I feel like they caught her off guard with the song though, it sounded like she hit a few rough notes at the beginning as if she didnt have time to warm up, so she just went all out. All in all a great performance. I love that woman, but she does seem a lil unhappy lately, she prolly misses her man ( At least I hope thats what it is, and they’re not heading for splitsvill already.) They compliment each other so well. Proud of her success though. Do it Girl!

I don’t watch Oprah, but she and Beyonce both did a good job. Oprah’s gift is definitely being able to draw her guests out - Beyonce definitely showed more personality in this interview than any other I’ve ever seen of her.

I actually really enjoyed this interview with Beyonce. I saw an interview on beyonceworld.net, with her from about a week ago when she was promoting, and she was asked all the same questions pretty much-where she was when Obama won ect. The interview was painful-I almost felt bad for her, She has got to have the absolute worst grammar of an accomplished entertainer in a really long time.

Daddy Knowles must have sat her down with a speech coach the day before the big O show, because she alomst, ALMOST, passed for someone who graduated high school, and learned english as a first language.

However the interview was charming, and she did looked great, as she has been doing lately. I look forward to Cadillac Records-It truly would be a pleasant suprise if she was “good” in the film.

I usually never comment, but I hate when people that don’t know shit about music act like they know everything. BEYONCE WAS LIP SYNCHING. This doesn’t mean that she cant sing forreal, it just means that for whatever reason (probably because the song that was already written and recorded by it’s creator, while she claims to have written it, like every other song on her album, happened to be too low for her vocal range) she decided to lip synch. Anybody that knows anything about music, like as a professional (performer or just behind the scenes) can tell that. It’s called a live track, you record the song differently then it is on the album to give it a live sound. So before people call others idiots……everybody doesn’t have to kiss beyonce’s ass and no one is stopping you from doing so if you like shit on your face. Hater is the most misused word ever created right now. Why does everyone say someone is a hater because they express their opinion? First of all, none of these people where actually @ the studio when she performed, however anyone who knows about the music industry forreal (not just as a consumer) knows that people sometime make what is called a live track, which is re-recording a song differently then it is on an album so that when you sing to it, it appears and sounds like it is being preformed live. The reason for this is sometimes to save your voice if you are doin a long promotional tour (like she said she is doing) or simply because you can. If you can really sing, then you are probably going to look the most convinceable…… really got all you payroll Beyonce fans upset. And yes she works hard and deserves to have fans that love her but it is funny how all you uninformed individuals love somebody so much (that you don’t even know or never even talked to) that you are unable to point out any flaws in this woman. Personally I think she is a media whore who takes credit for songs she has not written and the reason this makes me upset is because people that are talented and beautiful should not feel the need to do all this extra stuff to sell. But some stars are in it for the art of it and some do it for the money and to be seen. Anytime you release two videos on the same day that your label mate (and supposed friend) is releasing an album you got to be greedy as hell.
