Keri Hilson was on BET’s 106 & Park today to premiere her Erik White-directed new video, “Turnin’ Me On,” featuring Lil’ Wayne. This is the second single from Keri’s album, In A Perfect World… which has hit a couple of bumps in the road.
Keri seemed confident that the album will release at the top of ’09. She also revealed that she has been in the studio recording new tracks for the album, because a few tracks have already leaked.
i love the song and i like keri hilson, but the video im not really feeling at all. shes not that great of a dancer and the whole video reminds me of the I NEED A SOLDIER video by DESTINYS CHILD.
and furthermore, it doesnt remind me of ciara, because they both try to copy off of Aaliyah, especially in this video.

I have to disagree with Keri having her own style. She has been looking like a cross between Ciara and Rhianna lately. This video and song reminds me of something Ciara would do. It also reminds me of DC’s “Soldier” video as well as Monica’s ‘Beat Drop” video.
