Rihanna’s best solo album, which was her third album won her 1 Grammy. 1..One..Uno. She has dropped 3 albums and has gotten 1 Grammy. ONE! Uno! Last year was Rihanna’s best year, yet the girl still went bankrupt. Beyonce sat up with her soon to be hubby for a half the year and toured the other half, and still banked 80million. Beyonce has has dropped less solo albums then Rihanna but is still far more decorated and respected.

Rihanna is 19 and new, beyonce is getting older, married and is not a fresh face. Yet even in the midst of all that, Beyonce worst album still does just as good as Rihanna’s best. There is no need to even compare talent because Beyonce already has that sown up hands down. But for yall to say b needs to take notes, you are mistaken sweety. rihanna has been taken notes but still is out of her league.

Whatever it is that she does, dancing or no dancing….singing or no singing…there is a market for it apparently. I think it’s just that she has a look and a fashion sense that is unmatched right now. You can’t deny that.

The music industry moves in cycles. Singles use to be what propelled artists, then albums, now image, which is a terrible thing. Some like Jennifer Holiday, Dionne Farris, Phoebe Snow, Betty Wright, Cheryl Lynn and others would never have made it in the business. They were either too big or didn’t fit the weave, shake your ass light skinned type that is being shoved down our throats. Now the industry is moving towards CDs with more than 1-2 good songs.

Fergie had 6 songs off her CD and it did very well. Rhi-Rhi has 8 and the album is still selling. Why is that a bad thing?!?!?!?
