this is an artist her sister is very commercial. Solange is a very gifted songwritter cause her storytelling stands out. this is grammy material. the video was great and creative which is her forte’. i love her whole album.

Yea this is my absolute favorite song on the album. This and 6 O’clock blues! I thought the video was creative and very cool. I liked the fact the T.O.N.Y stands for: The Other Night. Very Cool Solange i love it!

I absolutely LOOOOOVE Solange, T.O.N.Y., the album and the video. I’m so excited it’s finally out. The song is so interesting and creative! The one thing I don’t get is what she means by “I coulda been in love by now…” then at the end she puts “I’m in love now” on the picture of her and her son. I understand she’s saying she’s in love now and I get T.O.N.Y. is a one night stand but what does she mean in the song when she says “I coulda been in love by now?”

.I really like this video. She gives a real perspective of what many young women go through. And with this, she is really admitting that she made a mistake, but look what came out of it. The video is cool though.

i listened to the album and i love like 2 songs on it, but that was it. the rest was disappointing.
This song is ok but it doesnt really standout to me, the video reminded me of one thing- the walking and shoes etc, but also a bit of rehab with the instrumentalists standing around.

This girl is beautiful … I really like her. She needs more exposure and if you guys didn’t get it she was taking a pregnancy test …but in all honesty they couldn’t of cut that part short or came up with another way to get the results.

SOLO! I freaking love this video! You lost me for a moment, But you made up for it at the end. I’m so with you girl I’m not a mom yet.But you are so telling the true. There are some things and desicion that you do regret in life, but in the end you becoming a mom and seeing that little person and hearing them say MOMMY or I LOVE YOU. It makes up for it. It also gives you your purpose here and you find Love all over again.

I’ve always loved this song and leave it to her to make an expressive video.
I have never been a fan of hers at all, but I must say I did like the song–and the video was nice too. I thought the song was about something totally different at first (a guy you are hung up on who you want to get over so you can start being interested in other guys). Later it all made sense. Must say though that I related to it more when I thought it was about the first thing, lol.
