Its silly the Leona comments, they are different singers with different voices Like Whitney, Mariah and i guess it it depends what you like. I personally like Alex’s voice better, although i think Leona can sing i think she’s very Mariah circa 90′s with more of a pop voice and less soul, i also think her music is very middle of the road (ballads) and not very risky. I also really like Fantasia for passion and soul in her voice. I don’t think that a few people from the states are going to dictate who is going to be successful in the states after we gave you Estelle, Adele, Amy and Duffy who are all or have been nominated for Grammy’s and have given you some of the best music you haven’t heard in years. Alexandra can sing! she has a strong voice and a stage presents (check other xfactor performances) as long as she is given the right material which is what makes any artist regardless of talent – she’ll be okay. Go Girl!!!
Remember, you guys have had this girl after a week of winning, you got Leona Lewis over a year after winning with stylists, make up artists and a good video (U.K version) song Bleeding Love and media training. Alexandra is far from ugly Silly comment) but then i like my girl darker but regardless of all of that after watching the video with her singing with Beyonce who has been in the game 10 years + her less, she can sing and held her own. I couldn’t vote for alex but I have been watching X Factor on the computer and I was all for her winning since the beginning. She is so humble and I hope she comes to the states. With the right songs, she can go worldwide. Congrats to you girl.
