Lil Wayne garnered the most Grammy nominations, receiving eight, and alternative rock band Coldplay grabbed six as the Recording Academy announced this year’s nominees for the 51st annual Grammy Awards on Wednesday.
Lil Wayne and Ne-Yo (who received six nominations) were both nominated for the prestigious album of the year award. Rappers Jay-Z and Kanye West also received six nominations each and our girl Jazmine Sullivan got 5 nominations, including Best New Artist. Despite all the drama surrounding their personal lives Mariah and Usher’s albums were good and deserved to get nominated at least. The fact that Alicia wasn’t nominated in some of the more major categories is crazy. I got love for B, but I didn’t find anything about her live version of Me Myself and I that was so exceptional it should be nominated, Flaws and All live was better IMO. I’m feeling Jazmine so I hope she wins some. I”m sorry but JHuds cd was a hot mess and boring. The Grammy’s have become such a disappointment I doubt I’ll be watching.

Who really deserves the most awards is Coldplay their cd is the best cd this year. And yea Alicia has more grammys because she’s the best than Beyonce than Mariah.
