That said, when is she gonna have another hit aside from American Boy? Her CD was EXCELLENT one of the best this yeat but come on if she’s not careful she gonna be just another Khia (My Neck My Back?!) who’ll endlessly ride this one track her entire career.
She is talented and she makes great music, but I daresay American Boy became a hit mainly because of WHO was featured on it. It’d be a shame if she doesn’t have anymore success because she works very hard clearly to create a sound for herself.

Estelle’s name means “star”! And “Stella” also means “star”. How fitting! She is a true embodiment of her name. I love Estelle’s music, and her style is truly her own.

I don’t understand why she must wear 15 bajillion pounds of make-up! I personally don’t think she is that cute because of her odd features. However, she has a vivacious personality and seems down to earth which substitutes for her unconventional beauty.
I HATTTEEE when people automatically assume that a person is ugly because of skin color!!! Hell you can be Black as a tire and be BEAUTIFUL!!! people are so ignorant when they equate beauty to skin shade. Like I said, without her UK fan base, she would not have made it in the US. Kanye would not have given her a second look without her UK start. The UK market for black artist is relativity untapped, so anyone with soul will stand out. There are 9,784,257,763 girls in the US who can put down harder than Estelle. She blew up in the US because of the Kanye West feature. Wait until you hear my new record featuring Beyonce, Rihanna, Lil Wayne and Chris Brown. That’s a hit and all I have to do is say…”Yeah”!
