Beyawnsay cannot act, her singing is average, her dancing is stiff and too rehearsed, and her fashion is horrid. Go away Beyawnsay and stop trying to force people to believe you are a triple threat because you are NOT!!!

Beyonce is a talented artist, but acting is not her thing. Just because you can sing don’t mean you can be a box office hit. She has a long way to go before getting an oscar, or she can buy one. (COME ON STANS, LETS HEAR IT). I thinks she is ok, but I am outgrowing her music. But as others have said Sanna Lathan, Gabrielle, or even Jada would have been a better pick. They’d make the character seem real, like Idris and Ali do. She just looks like she’s trying to act.

I love Idris, Ali and Beyonce, so of course I’m going to check out this movie.

It’s okay if people say Beyonce cant act, cause it’s their opinion. But just because you say the movie flopped, doesnt mean Beyonce did too. She was getting mad reviews and claps for her Etta James role. Critics even said they would be suprised if she didnt get an oscar nomination for Cadillac Records. That must be saying something right?

But of course, haters always still blame Beyonce. I think she’s growing as an actress. From where she started from to now, you can see she has progressed. And this is her first non-singing movie role, so yall got to give her a lil break!

This looks like a cocoa-colored version of “The Hand That Rocks the Cradle” with a dash of “Fatal Attraction” and a sprinkle of “Trois” served hot and crappy. The only thing it’s missing is a dead bunny in a pot of boiling water.

I AGREE. SORRY I WON’T PAY FOR THIS MOVIE. THIS CONCEPT IS CONSTANTLY REPEATED ON LIFETIME AND HONESTLY EVEN IN THE PREVIEW BEYONCE’S ACTING SUCKS. I THINK I WOULD GET INTO HER ACTING WHEN SHE LEARNS TO PUT HER ACCENT ASIDE LIKE HER CO-STAR IDRIS. IDRIS DOESN’T LOOK AS NICE WITHOUT HIS FACIAL HAIR EITHER.

Beyonce just needs to either get a really good acting coach or throw in the towel. I think when people who try to transition from one genre to another, they should not assume that just becasue they are good singers or actors that they will be able to conquer the other area. i think they are to many good unemployes African American actresses who could have easily done this role. people will be to focused on the fact that Beyonce is trying to act instead of the whole film and the other actors. I hope they did not make to much of an investment in this movie since it is most likely not going to make its money back.

I like the concept of the movie. I’m also glad that Beyonce isn’t singing in this movie, she needs not to do any of those types of movies for a good while if ever again. It feels like she overthinks her lines, overly dramatic.

If this is somehting she wants to do she needs to go all in. Invest her time in an acting class, she has gotten better over the course of her career but thats my opinion. I wonder how an actress like Sanaa Lathan, Nia Long or other talented black actress might have done in this role.

I thought the clip was pretty good….no it’s not Titanic, but I think it will be entertaining. What happened to ppl just wanting to be entertained. Beyonce is a great entertainer. No she’s not the best actor, but she is great entertainer. I really enjoy her on the big screen.

Beyonce isn’t an “oscar-winning” actress but she holds her own. I love Idris and Ali too. The movie does seem intense and suspenseful so I’ll check it out.

The movie looks like it is going to be great. I will definitely support it. I am so sick and tired of people saying Beyonce can’t act. Beyonce has done 7 movies so far… that is a lot, 6 of which her roles had something or everything to do with singing.
You have to crawl before you walk… these movies are just stepping stones for better roles later in life.

BEE is a hard worker and no matter what this women does in the business she will be hated on because she is doing everything possible to reach her goals.

She is well respected by her business peers because they see first hand how much she loves what she does and how well she and her people work together in executing it.

Well I read the comments about the movie trailer. To be precise “ENOUGH” was about a battered wife living with a possessive husband, so technically they we’re not the same movie not even to compare. “CADDILAC RECORDS” wasn’t exactly the best movie, but Beyonce is slowly breaking out of her typical singer roles. “OBSSESED” to be exact reminded me of “THE HAND THAT ROCKS THE CRADLE” without the baby. Every actress should be given a chance Halle Berry played a ghetto black chick in “BAPS” and that wasn’t her best movie either. So with time comes growth, and from what I’ve seen Beyonce’s part is out of her norm and it appears she plays is very well.

The reason Beyonce gets the lead in these movies is because her and her father is doing the movies. Hollywood is not casting this girl for any parts. If you notice her and her father produce these movies. That is the only way she will get a movie role. Remember, she asked to be in Dreamgirls.
