After the recent tragedies with her family, Academy Award winning actress and recording artist Jennifer Hudson is finally making her way back to the spotlight.
It has been reported that she will shot a new music video next week for her second single, “If This Isn’t Love,” from her self-titled debut. She was originally slated to shoot the clip for the video before the murders of her mother, brother and nephew.
I had thought that the promotional trail for Jennifer had come to an end, and understandably so, but I’m glad to see that she’s decided to not stop working on the album.
Jennifer also was nominated for 4 Grammy’s this year, for best R&B album, best female R&B vocal performance, best R&B song for “Spotlight” and best R&B performance by a duo or group with vocals for her duet with Fantasia, “I’m His Only Woman.” Here’s what she had to say about the nominations:
“It’s been a childhood dream of mine to release an album,” she said in a statement, “so to receive four Grammy nominations is truly a blessing. I’m extremely honored and humbled by the nominations.

beyonce european tour dates
Beyonce recently released her third studio album, I Am… Sasha Fierce, and just week later, she announces dates for the European leg of her world tour, beginning Sunday, April 26 in Croatia and running through Sunday May 31 at the Odyssey Arena in Belfast.
The most heavily anticipated concert event of the year, Beyonce’s I Am Tour will mark the artist’s first full-length concerts since 2007’s sold-out The Beyonce Experience and will premiere live performances of songs from I Am… Sasha Fierce, her latest international #1 chart-topping album. The world-renowned top designer, director and photographer Thierry Mugler will work as creative advisor and costume designer on Beyonce’s tour.

BRANDY ALREADY TALKING NEW ALBUM?
Even though Brandy released her new album, Human just days ago, it seems as though she’s already talking about her sixth studio album!
On the new album, Rodney “Darkchild” Jerkins was the primary producer, as he has been in the past with Brandy, but on her fourth album, 2004’s critically acclaimed Afrodisiac, Timbaland helms most of the production and served as executive producer. And although she recorded songs with Timbaland for the new album, Human, none of those tracks made the album.
“One of the reasons why is because it’s hard to get Timbaland’s voice on records, and we really wanted his voice to be on the records,” she tells Rap-Up.com. “It’s not that they’re not good, it’s just that we couldn’t work it out where he could actually be on the album.”
But Brandy reveals that if she has it her way the next time around, the album will be executive produced by both Rodney Jerkins and Timbaland.
“I think I’m gonna work with Timbaland again heavy for my next album. He’s one of the most talented producers, I think, to ever exist,” she disclosed. “I would love to do an album with him and Rodney together, like they actually executive produce it together. That would be a dream of mine.”
I wonder what’s got Brandy talking about a new album so soon? I think maybe she’s been online and reading some comments about how fans were disappointed that Timbaland tracks didn’t make the album. Just yesterday, one of the tracks, in their entirety, “Drumlife” leaked.

I’m still praying for JHUD and Julia, this is something you can never get over, I’m glad that she is getting back to work she has a gift.
Say what you will about Beyonce, but NO ONE and I mean NO ONE can touch her live performance game. I missed the Beyonce Experience Live and I watched it on DVD. I was really mad that I didn’t see her live, She is the biz on the stage.
No comment on the Britney Stans comment. The only reason why she is doing good is because she can sit up without falling over. And yeah I’m glad she is “back” but I saw her on GMA and she was decent. Nothing special. I saw Bey perform Single Ladies a million times on her promo tour and she gave it 2000 percent each time. Lastly, Cadillac Records was not a flop. it had 3.5 million in 646 theaters. No the facts about things. Also the budget was only 12 mil. I’m sure they will recoup that real quick.
Love Love Love the new Brandy album. If it doesn’t sale well she should not get down on herself, that album is pure therapy and I love it. However Afrodisiac w/ Timbo was by far her best album in my eyes. And a collabo with Rodney and Timbo on one album will be fire!!!!! I’m just glad that Brandy is back and I’m glad that all of these women in the post are just doing their things. I applaud J hud for being strong, Bey for keeping it moving regardless of haters, and Brandy for staying strong as well.

Brandy is already talking about the new album because she probably didn’t have that many options to call the shots at her new record company, Epic. And to be honest, Epic hasn’t done a great deal of promotion for the new album. Concreteloop has created more word of mouth than Epic.
But that being said, fans would be pleased to see an album where Brandy starts to exude confidence again and return to her true form, ie, Afrodisiac and Never Say Never.
Its good to see Jennifer Hudson emerging again.
Beyonce’s world tour is one of her strongest marketing tools. Beyonce, for all the hate she gets, is a hard working performer. On and off the stage, Beyonce works tirelessly to ensure that everything she attaches her name to is in some way successful. Her album is the latest evidence of that because it was nowhere near her best. That hasn’t stopped I Am… from flying off of the shelves.

To all beyonce haters, sorry but this is the year for beyonce 2009. This is her year. She will be reconized for her performance in music and movies. All the stans know beyonce is the hardest worker out in the industry..So sorry for jenifer lost last year and she still have my prayers, but sorry if they do decide to give her a award it will be a pity award and I know she dosen’t want a pity award. Everyone knows that Mrs. Sasha Fierce(Carter) make everyone else in the game work. We all know she is the hardest worker out and is very talented. She can sing,dance, act and she is a great performer. She give you your money worth and you don’t mind spending it to see her. I hope jazmine will win the new artist award, her cd was good. Also keshia cd was good. Think about how so many have already remix diva, Boy and single ladies. All artists all the way down to R. Kelly And many have did the video single ladies too. Beyonce is the badest. She changes the game. Hate if you must, but the truth is the truth. After Beyonce cleans up this year in awards she will sit down and have jay-z baby and concetrate on being a mother and wife.
