This new Jay-Z track featuring one of my favorite artists, Santi “Santogold” White was leaked on the web earlier this week. All the Santogold fans might remember the chorus loop from her song “Shove It,” off of her debut self-titled album. Nevertheless, the song is still hot. Not to mention, it was produced by the always eclectic Kanye West.

The track is nice and Santi sounds great. I’m honestly tired of Jay. I thought he retired and I loved when he did because he retired as a legend in the rap game. Then he came back, now it seems like he wants to be on everything that comes out. Please go back into retirement Jay.

I like how they are trying to bring her into the spotlight a little more but why not actually doing a REAL song with her? She’s a great artist and deserves more than a little K West sample. And the same with M.I.A. They could have made a paper planes remix with M.I.A. actually featured on it.
