I agree that Keyshia looked waaaaaaay better before she had the gap fixed. I understand wanting to have a perfect smile but SOMETIMES those little imperfections actually look cute I think. For example, Nas looked fine with the chipped tooth (as does Fabolous) and Shemar Moore (Criminal Minds) doesn’t look right since he had his teeth done. When I heard Keyshia Cole was re-recording this I was so anxious to hear it.Now it’s finally here. I donno, of course im gonna keep listening to it but its not wat i expected. I LOVE YOU is my favorite song by Mary J. Blige for the melodies and the beat. this song has too much hip hop going on. I LOVE YOU was one of those songs where Mary didnt do too much, it was calm and you could feel it. I cant feel this but i love Keyshia Cole and cant wait 2 get the album next week.

Keyshia Cole is extremely pitchy. some of the adlibs and chorus lines don’t match the key of the song. Who ever produced mixed or mastered this has no ear for music. Keyshia needs to stick with people like Ron Fair who can tell her if a notes is off key. Because we can see and hear that this chick is always lost. esp. Live!

Some songs you just can’t remake unless you bring that fire and really make it your own and this is one of them. This was not good at all. I also don’t see why people are still using Lil Wayne for features. It’s not like he can gurantee a hit for real and it’s becoming tired. He was good at first, but when he started to spread himself so thin on everybody else’s work, the quality he had as a rapper went way down.

I hear you, but here’s the thing- Mary was known as the remake queen at one time. The difference in her re-making songs and Keyshia re-making Mary is MARY MADE THE SONG HERS! You didn’t care and some didnt even know Rose Royce did I’m Going Down first! Daydreaming was Natalie Cole but again Mary made it her own and so on and so on. People would go on Apollo and say they were singing MJB’s I”m Going Down not the other way around. a good remake is the artist admiring the original artist’s work but putting their own stamp to it. Keyshia to me is trying to be Mary and that will never happen.

I can’t listen to the song since the site is blocked (I’m at work) but I don’t think Miss Cole has the best voice but we can’t blame her for trying to make a buck since everyone else does. If she worked with the right people she could possibly be a better singer. There are really not a lot of real singers out there, more males than females. But when you touch the My Life album, a cd Mary was “Singing” to K Ci and felt every word, key key should have broken up with a man and yearn for that love and then go into the studio and try it, cause Mary felt every word from the intro to be happy off the album.
