OJ Simpson speaks in court prior to his sentencing at the Clark County Regional Justice Center Friday, December 5 in Las Vegas, Nevada. The 61-year-old football Hall of Famer stood shackled and stone-faced when the Judge sentenced him to at least 15 years in prison for a hotel armed robbery.
Simpson and co-defendant Clarence ‘C.J.’ Stewart were sentenced on 12 charges, including felony kidnapping, armed robbery and conspiracy related to a 2007 confrontation with sports memorabilia dealers in a Las Vegas hotel.
The judge said several times that her sentence in the Las Vegas case had nothing to do with Simpson’s 1994 acquittal in the slaying of his ex-wife Nicole Brown Simpson and her friend Ronald Goldman. And she rejected his apology stating, “It was much more than stupidity.”

Damned if the sentence has nothing to do with the murders! That’s a drastic sentence for a robbery where nothing was stolen and no one was harmed. There are rapists, child molestors and murderers that walk out of jail in less than 3-5 years.
On the other hand, O.J. brought this on himself. Since he didn’t have enough sense to sit his ass down someplace and keep a low profile or leave the country while he had the chance I guess he’ll just have to spend a decade behind bars.
He should have known they were gonna hang his ass for J Walking, let alone robbery.
I’m not saying it was right that they acquitted him in 95, but for those police, judges, etc they probably think he’s finally been caught for murdering Nicole and Ron. If they wanted to find him guilty then, they should have just done it then. The courts look like a bunch of hypocrites now.

I have mixed feelings about this case.
I saw OJ simpson not too long ago on a show called “Inside American Jail” on Tru TV. He had been arrested for something. As he walked through the cell he shouted, “I’m back” because it was his second time there. Therefore, I think someone who keeps messing up needs to stay in jail. You can’t really stick up for someone who stay in trouble.
However, I also feel that what happened 14 years ago had a little to do with this case. If the police/system know that you’re a criminal, but they can’t proove you’re guilty, they try to find other things they can convict you of. Yes, it was OJ’s fault, but ‘everything’ he did that day was filmed on camera and his phone call was audio taped.

I watched the entire sentencing today O.J.wasnot sentenced 15yrs he was sentenced 7-1/2 yrs and his friend stewart was given the same exact sentencing!
O.j physically didnot kill nicole he may had conspitred to have it dpne but def didn’t kill her or ron himself.
