Its a shame that her label don’t give her the promotion she deserves. If it wasnt for CL, an episode of Girfriends and youtube I would never have heard of her. Her album is one of the best I’ve heard in years, its a great record. Now that soul music is “in” her label could have really pushed the promotion, they have no excuse because Adele is on an independent British label and she’s received attention globally.
Anyhow she looks better with the longer “hair” the short look does not work on her.

I bought her last album, it was alright. I thought they were trying to go for a Jill Scott kind of vibe for her but they were marketing her to the wrong people. I’m so mad they’r holding Mizani gift bags lol. Although I love Mizani, it leaves a nasty buildup of film on your hair. It’s a shame too cause I know a lot of women who use it and wonder why their hair isn’t as full, shiny or soft as it could be. Their relaxers are ok, it’s just the shampoos and conditioners that are a HUGE no no.

If you dont know about Chrisette you should definitely ruunnnnn to the store and pick up her cd I Am. One of the best albums from start to finish. Very powerful and soulful voice. Truly one of a kind. I’m a big Chrisette fan as well as Dawn great to see two beautiful voices together.
