We have to continue to pray not only for Obama’s safety , but his wisdom as well. America is facing a dire situation with the economy, and the two wars . I can only hope that the Republicans will not be contradictory just for the sake of contradiction. The two parties really need to become allies , and work together for the common good of this country.

I really hope that Obama’s plan works because Bush has really dug a deep, deep hole and I’m not sure any one might be able to fix the mess that he has made…I will continue to pray for Obama and the team that he is putting together, because I can only hope and pray that they will be able to fix this messed up economy and world that we are living in!

I was about to say what a cutie pie, but I didn’t want ya’ll to think I was those people from the millionaire personals website!
Anyways, Obama is putting quite a few women and minorities in his cabinet. Bill Richardson-latino, Susan Rice-black, Hillary Clinton-woman, Eric Holder-black, Eric Shinseki-asian, Rahm Emanuel-jewish/whatever, and I know there’s more but don’t know their names.
Good for him!

Great Job & Excellent Leadership & White House Selection From An Excellent Authorative Figure, Mr. Barack ”Yes We Can” Obama. He has an excellent strategy for the resurgence of the economy. Now hopefully he will be able bring back some of the jobs that were outsourced.

On a serious note. We need to pray for President-Elect Obama. He can’t do this alone. We as a people need to also do our part. It is as simple as that. I still can’t believe that I am living to witness this. America is fantastic!!

The Supreme Court is reviewing a lawsuit against Barack Obama about his citizenship to the United States…what else are they going to put this man through. Every time he turns around, he’s got to prove the naysayers. Is a few scared of his presidency?

I have a question Obama, How are we going to fund what you propose? Where is the money going to come from? China? We’re already over-leverage. Are we going to tax the super rich to help support the system?

He’s gonna have weekly addresses?? This is so cool! Just like FDR’s fireside chats! I love how he’s letting us know whats going on. The American people need to be kept in the loop. We may have disagreements with his ideas, but at least we aren’t going to be kept in the dark anymore.

Hey Judas,
I know you are going to check this post and I don’t want you to think I did not answer your question because you have a tendency of missing my responses to you…
You said you have exposed me. You cannot expose me when I have been as clear and precise as the nose on your face about my stand in this black movement. When I say “we” I am not talking about Americans. I am talking about Black People. Sorry to break it to you, but Black People are not Americans. They would like to be considered as American, but they have not reaped the benefits of America in order to be classified as Americans. As Malcolm X said, If 4 people are sitting at the dining table and 3 are eating you cannot call all four diners. I am not a diner until I am eating like everyone else at that table. So when I say “we” I mean Africans which is every single Black person in this country. I know they do not like to be called Africans. The first thing they would tell you, “I am not African, I did not leave anything in African, I was born here so I am an American.” I usually tell them, you left your mind in Africa. This kind of thinking is not by default, they have been maneuvered into this type of thinking. The white man knows that in order to keep Black people or any race for that matter, trapped, you have to take away their identity, their religion, and most of all make them afraid and ashamed of their origin. The white man instilled the image of Africa in the minds of these black people as a jungle with wild uncivilized, starving people running around with bones in their noses. Black people have not taken the time to study the history of the world to know that African was where there land on earth started. If they new about plate tectonics they would know that ever single continent on earth fit together like a puzzle. Why because they were all one land mass. It was because of the aforementioned “tectonics” that caused the land to move and break off into continents. Africa’s current plight is because of the exploitation and plunder of the white man. But that is another topic for another day.
I must concur, either you are with God or with Satan, but I refuse to sit in the pews or in any congregation for that matter and listen you or some theologist interpret the Bible for me. I have read the Bible from cover to cover, many times and each point in my life that I have read it, it has meant something totally different. Why? Because the Bible is a living word. If 1000 people read the Bible at the same time, there would be a thousand separate interpretations. So if I am going to be spanked by God on Judgment Day, let it be off my own interpretation and not off someone else’s. I am telling you we can talk about religion for days and I would not need a breather. I am very passionate about this subject, but I am at work and I have to get through my response.
As far as fighting for this country, I will never pick up arms in defense of this country again. I have done it twice. Once as a “peace keeping” effort in Kosovo and again in the first stages of “Iraqi Freedom.” When I joined the military, I joined in time of peace, it just so happened these conflicts occurred while I was in. The UCMJ states if you desert the military in times of war it is punishable by death. What I will do is – if ever I am called to eliminate genocide in Africa like we’ve seen in Rwanda, Somalia or Darfur, I will probably join that campaign. Would you?
Speaking of Africa, you asked why hasn’t the Africans joined in the Black people’s struggles. Why? Because they know that we are ignorant and have to be educated to start the real revolution. Black people have been fighting for civil rights in America but what they do not realize is that they had the struggles backwards. You cannot walk before you creep. You cannot get civil rights until you’ve acquired human rights. When we fight for civil right and take it to the Supreme Court, they pass this hypocritical “Supreme Court Desegregation Decision;” we’ve been pacified. The Supreme Court role in our struggle is like putting the fox in charge of the hen house. Civil Rights is an in house issue; it should be confine to the boundaries of that country. So outside influence was not received. If we had cried out for violation of our Human Rights then it would have been an global issue and we would have had the help of the UN (for whatever it is worth) and the Global community. Then outsiders like our African brother and sister would have joined in and we would have had our own Mau Mau Uprising in America. Unfortunately Africans are still looking to us to for word to jump start this revolution and as unfortunate as that is it is more unfortunate that Blacks in America are satisfied with scraps they have been given.
As far as the economy, you are completely off base. You do not get into debt by printing money. Debt comes from borrowing. The 8 trillion debt that the US has is borrowed money form China and other countries. The US has been living on borrowed for the past 40 years, and has been getting by on it. Basically, living above its means. But if every day the bucket goes to the well, one day the bottom will fall out. And that is what happened. If you print money it devalues the currency currently in circulation. So that does not help. The only way Obama can alleviate this debt is to tax the top 1% of wealthy Americans. Its either taxes or borrow more money from China. Pick one…..
