I dont know if she was nervous or what. But, I sing alot and have a good ear for notes and music….. it was very pitchy and her look… WTH was that? I’ve seen keyshia Grow with her style since she first came on the scene and was ENTIRELY pleased with her album cover pic, she looked so FAB. I love keyshia but her stylist F’d her over with this particular look and her vocalist skipped her lessons on singing the national anthem… But I give her an A for effort…. That is all

The song was extremely rushed as if she was singing in fast forward. Especially as one is songing the national anthem, why would she have chose that big grandmother colored wig and that outfit. It was horrible. I guess as the saying goes the fruit does not fall to far from the tree because she looks as if she came right from the dysfunctional family that she came from. Major regression! And I love her past work, but her new album is garbage. Artists hit a high note and then rush out garbage new material thinking it will sell. In today’s realm of “NEW artists”…if you are comparing the QUALITY of the work…time after time, album after album, Alicia Keys never fails…she don;t put out an album unless its REAL substance and grammy worthy…albeit the grammys give bullshit awards 2…anyway I’m done.

I’m a Keyshia Cole fan, but I’ll admit, that wasn’t a good performance. You don’t have to rush the beginning, a lot of artists tend to do that when they sing this. And not that Keyshia doesn’t look sexy, but I just don’t understand what she is wearing. It’s like a cross between Show Girl and Call Girl, pick one Keysh. I know she is claiming “A Different Me,” which is what we all want, but not this way.

The singing wasnt that bad, just rushed and off key at times. I’ve heard worse (unfortunately) and the american anthem is hard to sing. Its almost like a test of who can sing or not.
