Beyonce is selling more than Britney ( yes Britney open with 20k more than Beyonce but Britney second wk sells are expected to be lower than Beyonce second week sells, as matter of fact they are to tie with Beyonce 4th wk sells, but both ladies did great, Taylor Swift his kicking ass though happy for her) but name a black female singer that came out this year (Alicia cam out in 07 and she did supergreat) that has sold more than Beyonce. Hell Beyonce did better than Kanye (an he still did good, given the album was something different for him), but its funny we are mentioning sells because when they fav artist don’t sell, sells don’t matter. But with Beyonce it does people feel the need to go out their way to hate on this girl, but the more hate she get I guess the more successful she becomes. Sales Decline

A few weeks ago, Beyonce’s dad Matthew Knowles arrogantly boasted that his daughter Beyonce’s new CD “I Am Sasha Fierce” would sell between 750,000 to 1,000,000 copies in its first week of release.

After all, rapper Lil’ Wayne just sold 1,000,000 copies in a week and Alicia Keys sold over 850,000 copies in a week several months ago, so certainly Beyonce, who is more known would do so as well. :

“I think we’ll sell 750,000 to 1 million copies [in the] first week,” says Music World head Mathew Knowles, Beyoncé’s father and manager.

Guess again. Beyonce’s new copyright infringing CD “I Am Sasha Fierce” debuted this week to a sizable sales decline from her previous album “B’Day.” She went from “B’Day” to mayday.

Beyonce’s previous CD, 2006’s “BDay” sold 541,000 copies in the first week and her sales had been building with each solo album.

However, her new CD “I Am Sasha Fierce” sold 482,000 copies in the first week of release, which is 60,000 copies less in America than its predecessor “B’Day” and hundreds of thousands of copies less that what it was predicted to sell.

That’s not a good sign for an artist’s career, as it signifies a downturn. Not to mention, a 60-70% drop off is expected in week two for U.S. sales of the album.

“Meanwhile, the Beyonce double-disc “I Am…Sasha Fierce” sold 482,000 copies in its first week in release, better than the first frame for her 2003 debut “Dangerously in Love,” but short of the figures for 2006’s “B-Day.”

Oh, but the story gets worse. Beyonce’s sales worldwide for “I Am Sasha Fierce” are down as well, with a decline of 350,000 copies internationally for its debut week, as compared to its predecessor “B’Day.”

“I Am Sasha Fierce” is on track to be Beyonce’s worst selling album to date. It has also charted much worse worldwide than all her previous albums.

Beyonce’s friend of many years, pardon the pun, Gabrielle Union, who is 36-years-old, made a comment in an interview that many are deeming proof that the singer has been lying about her age all along, as Media Take Out suggested, even providing her birth records.

Gabrielle stated in a recently conducted interview “Beyonce and I have been friends since we were teenagers. We go to the same hairstylist now and you know how those bonds are!”

Sites are now questioning how they could be friends since they were both teenagers, considering Beyonce claims to be 26-years-old now, while Union is 36 years of age.

Do the math - how can they be 10 years apart in age - but were teenagers at the same time while growing up. It doesn’t help Beyonce’s claims, but it helps Media Take Out, as by the paper they posted from the State of Texas, Beyonce is 34-years-old.
