Chrihanna is adoraable. It’s cute how Chris compared Rihanna to his mom, saying both are light-skinned with green eyes and that they get along great. The people in here who are certified “Rhi stans”, which I’ve never even heard of until this post, I have to question your age as well as talent IQ. Some people are so wrapped up in wardrobe that they completely skip over what’s important, PERFORMANCE.

Rihanna had a hot year in 2007, based on a revamped image, which called her to completely change who she was. Here she is at the end of 2008 going into 2009 still performing at the same level as someone at a highschool talent show, even worse than some that I’ve seen. Read below and see if you can do this.

–Name one performance that completely blew you away and could be ranked as a top performance of this decade,
-Name one time she’s performed on par with a legend, making that a top Grammy momen tof all time. Causing that performance to be put in the Grammy museum THIS YEAR.
-*Name one time where she sung the national anthem for an audience of millions
–Name ONE time where she went on a solo tour by herself and sold millions of tickets nationwide HEADLINING
-Name one number one hit she cowrote on, Name one video that turned into a worldwide phenomenon that had millions watch, and hundreds try to emulate.
-Name ONE ALBUM that Rihanna starred on by the age of 20 that went Diamond worldwide. (For the crazy person who said Rihanna was at Beyonce’s level at age 20 is HIGHLY MISTAKEN, The Writings on the Wall is certified diamond plus…selling millions in the U.S).
-What year end lists have GGGB singles released this year as the top ten? None
–What legend is Rihanna honoring at Kennedy Center? (None voice isn’t up to par)
–Who is at number one worldwide and the U.S with two different songs? That would be the artists you said isn’t at the top n e more. Silly.
–Whose first two solo albums have outsold all three of Rihannas?
–Name publications that have stated she has the top song of 2008, top video of 2008, or even album (rerelease).
–Name the video that Rihanna had millions of views with, that spurred a dance craze across the U.S this year with one of the dancers starring on national t.v shows? All of this due to a top notch performance and singer by the name of Beyonce? I don’t think you can recall this.

You can’t, and it’s a shame how you try to argue that she’s the number one, when it’s clearly not teh case. She has had NO NUMBER ONE ALBUMS, her albums have sold 60,000 first week, 100,000 first week, and you joke about Beyonce going platinum in THREE WEEKS? Gtfoh. That’s why I wonder who in the heck is truly typing on these blogs, because it can’t be people with any type of sense. In converstations of who is the top performers, someone like Beyonce always gets brought up, never Rihanna, fashion yes, but what sustains you in this industry is TALENT. Not top PUBLIC RELATIONS.

what’s funny is the fact that no matter what is said, the consensus is the same. Rihanna is hot now, and that’s just the way it is. No explanantions necessary and no long azz posts to prove anything is needed. Its just like that. End of story.
Beyonce is an aging star, there is always a replacement on the horizon, she did it to Janet and now Rihanna is taking Bey;s shine. This is just the natural cycle of the industry. Eventually it may happen to Rihanna but by then I don’t think it will matter, she will probably find a career in fashion because the girl has mega watt style. I really can see her as the next black Madonna, she is not R&B, she’s pop, and finally we have a big time black artist that people are comparing to Madonna, I find that exciting..More black people should be proud. Its very difficult to gain MTV viewers and Rihanna has done just that with ease.

Now I do have to agree that if Beyonce has a girl child, she will look like Joe Camel in a wig, not a good look at all..let us pray she has a boy. His lips may be too big and cover his whole face, but maybe he’ll grow into those features. we can only hope!
