Earlier this week, Soulja Boy, 18, sent out a viral video apology to all his fans and anyone he has offended this year.
I’m really happy he sent this video out because I like to support all artists and ever since that “shout out to the slave masters” comment he made back in October, I said I would never talk about him on this site again.
Good look Soulja Boy, I hope this new found look on life is a blessing for you.

@ 43 Judah!
Judah is an idiot and has now also proven himself to be a chauvinist.
Human=Human regardless of race or gender. That’s what so many of our ancestors have been fighting for. That is the equality we are striving to get. While we may never reach perfect equality because of brilliant assholes like you, we strive to get as close as possible, as many others before you have.
It is sad that you would insinuate the majority of Black Americans share dysfunctional views such as Soulja Boy and yourself. You also fail to realize that many of Soulja Boy’s supporters/fans can’t even afford the “ice” that he brags about having in his possession, so what’s in it for them! I still don’t get what is enlightening about his statements. All you have argued is why he feels the way he feels and then have the nerve to intelligently try and justify it…..by blaming BLACK WOMEN!!! Never mind THE MISSING MEN IN THE FAMILY PYRAMID!!!!
While this man (he is 18, no more juvenile court sweetie) should not be judged for his statements, he should be held accountable for his ignorance and educated. That will NOT happen if we keep making excuses and blaming each other! READ A BOOK!
No one’s blaming anyone..it’s just a matter of fact that his views are held by a large number of black people in this country. A problem like this doesn’t get fixed by kicking one person in the crotch, it involves large scale solutions to overcome such ignorance and wide wide misconceptions.
I agree with those that stated that Souljah needs a mentor. Bottom line! He’s a young man and not an adult yet. Not sure who’s guiding him, but clearly, someone in his camp needs to step in and take the reins.
My son is a year younger than he is and listens to this music all the time. I’ve even noticed him learning the dances, etc. So, with that said, he does have a following with the pre- and teens!
I applaud him for attempting to apologize for the ignorant comments and hopefully, he’ll move forward in a more positive direction or he’ll meet career suicide before he meets his peak! Real talk!
I DONT CARE WHAT NOBODY SAY, IM A GROWN AZZ WOMAN, BUT THIS LIL NICCA’S VIDEO SHOOTS BE OFF DA CHAIN… I WAS AT BIRDWALK, AND HE’S A CUTIE TOO WITH A FAN BASE THAT IS CRAZY, SO HE DID THE RIGHT THING. NOW, DONT MESS UP AGAIN BOY, LOL.
“DAMN OBAMA GOT SOOOOOOOOOO MUCH WORK TO DO!”
Obama don’t got shit to do. Parents need to get on their job!
GET ME BODIED..
You’re a fool. OMG.
LOL@#66, I ALREADY KNOW IM 2 MUCH BABY! ITS JUST THAT IVE WATCHED HIM GROW OVER THE PAST YEAR OR SO, I KNEW HIM BEFORE HIS FIRST LIL VIDEO EVEN AIRED AND IT JUST AMAZES ME WHAT HE HAS BECOME NOW…
@Beautiful
You don’t know who black people have been fighting for because if you did, you might understand why black people choose to “rebel” how they do, which is unprecedented by any oppressed race that allegedly wants to be “free”. As far as “reading books”, lmao, I don’t believe that your even literate, much less capable of referencing actual books. Your incessant need to comment based off of the nosense that you believe has a direct correlation to why there are children like Soulja Boy. No disrespect, but you are a black woman, and with that comes the knowledge that the doctrines and philosophies of the European is why you can run your mouth, dress how you’d like, and go where you want when you want. It’s nothing personal, lol. This site has mostly sisters, so I direct my comments towards the commentary I see.Black people are the only race that espouse this “equality” nonsense and actually believe it, unlike the other races who espouse it publicly but practice the exact oppposite.
This is why I make my comments concerning the black woman. Your mentalities have been compromised because you will not bite the hand that feeds and glorifies you. For example, when you say that we are all “human”, lol, what that means is that when a person that understands this society comments on why all races have businesses in our communites while we have none in theirs, much less in our own, an idiotic black woman like yourself will say, “Stop sounding ‘ignorant’! They have a right to make their money too!”, lol. The though process behind that is that you have more respect for the men of the other races and you understand that as long as the men of the other races have businesses instead of your own men, you can retain your independence from the black man. Most of you black women are feminists and humanitarians that get tremendously uncomfortable when it comes to “race issues” because you don’t want to shake the apple cart. This is why your opinions cannot be trusted regarding race relations or anything societal. The vast majority of you are poseurs and though you mention the lack of the black male at the top of the “pyramid”, that is the last thing that you would want because that means that you will have to know your place and stay in it. That will not happen. No strong society takes the opinions of the woman seriously because everything is predicated off of your emotions, not logic.
I never said that Soulja’s statements were “enlightening”, so please don’t attibute words to me that I didn’t use to respond to arguments that you can’t comprehend. I said that he was ahead of the curve in understanding why he thinks what he thinks, but dumb enough to be forthright in a society that prefers skilled liars, particularly people that lie to themselves i.e. retards like yourself. He is an entertainer in a capitalist society, which means that he must speak on what he knows to capture the attention of the people, which is riches. Again, it doesn’t matter that the so-called fans don’t have what he has. His job is to create a fantastical world around himself and get people to believe it. The entertainment industry is witchcraft anyway, so what difference does it make. Now capitalism is the economic system of the caucasian, so obviously as a capitalist, Soulja Boy will make the correlation between money-making and being in the chief country of the caucasian…that being America. It’s not rocket science.

i know you probably aint goin read this but he 18 he should know this im 12 and i already know alot about the civil rights movement, slavery, hitler and everything going down in history and since want to learn more so really no one should stick up for him nor no one should say its white people who made us not learn our history its ourselves and the school board for not more consideration in this
#7….word?? it’s like that, zulu?? LMAO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1
the guy’s reading off of a teleprompter/cue cards and obviously doesn’t care for what he’s saying. only doing it to pacify the vast army of dumbasses whose delusions of a non-racist non-fascist capitalist society are not even marginally more reasonable than the verbal diarrhea that constitutes soulja boy’s music.
Judah’s comments on societal structure are absolutely true, because whether you like it or not, the US is built on a capitalist system designed to prioritize white men and anyone else with any sort of “power” is just another puppet to keep the “progressive thinkers” in quiet bliss. I wouldn’t say I agree ideally with everything Judah says either, but don’t outright assume he’s a racist or a chauvinist just because you don’t like what he says.
“shout out to the slave masters”
BOY WHAT THE HELL WERE YOU THINKING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
See that when his parent(s) should have stepped in and whopped his ass, then make him apologize the next day! We need to education our kids more, they nee to know how blessed they truely are!
Then he plays his music video. Boy Shut The Hell Up!
@ Judah
Dear, Dear judah
Para 1 – Black men have made black women their equal? really?
Para 2 – This whole argument is based on generalizations and stereotypes. I am basically reading another angry Black brother vent about his personal issues with Black women. good luck with that. The majority of what you argue that I believe is completely untrue, such as white businesses in black neighborhoods. As a matter of fact, that counters my initial argument of equality. That is clearly unequal when we are not present in their neighborhoods.
Para 3 – This is MY point. As far as I am concerned you are giving him much more credit than he deserves. That boy made a statement you believe many Black Americans agree with, whether they say so or not. Unfortunately, his reasoning isn’t the same as yours. And based on the education level you feel is significantly higher than my own, ( I love how you pointed out my illeteracy) it’s quite embarrassing that you fail to see that this child can not begin to argue the case you have made. He is watching the idiot box and using his limited education to conclude: Africa=poverty, children with big bellies and flies. America = ice, tattoos, and hoes!
I’m so happy that you have concluded that men are the best leaders due to their intolerance of emotionally/spiritually driven decision-making. Science always wins, right Judah?!
u date white/asian girls don’t you, the most submissive in your book, huh?
i kid, i kid.
I hope you live up to your words.
