Halo. The video is simple, a little TOO simple. But she has TWO major things working in her favor:

1) Michael Ealy is just DAMN FINE!
2) I absolutely ADORE this song. I sing it to my daughter in the womb everyday. It’s just all around/ all out beautiful.

Diva. The song had to grow on me. Now the video has to. It’s part Shut Up & Drive/part DeJa Vu/part Promise.

The diva video could have been done so differently. Elaborate clothes and all, instead she wants to be Lady Gaga’s sister. Tina what are you doing? Also, her background dancers suck ass, bring back the other chicks, please. Other than that.. I was feeling the shades, her steez and all. Halo on the other hand kind of scared me because she looked creepily happy and there was no climax. Beyonce is beysus tho so everything she does is crack. you learn to love it.

My favorite is still Single Ladies. I like that Beyonce takes creative risks because she has built herself up enough to be able to deviate from the norm. I don’t think this track does her voice justice. The key is too low for her in some areas and her voice is struggling to reach those lower tone notes. Hey, I love the Halo effect of the video and he being a true artist is about deviation.

I’m not surprised with DIVA - I hated the song, now I hate the video…I really wish she would grow with her music. The album was dissapointing. Hopefully her next single with be either Ego or Scared of Lonely. Everything else just doesnt cut it IMO, shes so much better than this album.
