HALO: Michael Ealy- is all I have to say. He has always been a pleasing form of “EYE CANDY” He kept me interested in watchig the entire video, with those beautiful eyes, & sexy lips he has. The video was okay. Sounded kinda like RIHANNA song in the beginning.

DIVA: EEH! Someone labeled BEYONCE in their post as a “FEMALE HUSTLA”. I dont think so. Just because she may be married to a self proclaimed “HUSTLA” dont make her one. I mean she “tries” to get “HOOD” in some of her videos (The Bonnie & Clyde thing she did with Jay Z, the “I need a SOULJA” video with DC, & of course “UPGRADE YOU” & now this video). Dressing with the hat cocked to the side or backwards, displaying “hood” body manurisms/movements, or smoking a cigar dont make you “gangsta” or “hood”. It always comes off as “PHONY” when she does it because we all know where she REALLY came from. She has come a LOOONG way since the deep SOUTHERN TEXAS accent early days of the “original” Destinys Child. But she is by no means “hood or gangsta” no matter what she wears, who shes married to, how she sings/raps/talks in her songs. Its all ACTING. She’s trying to portray an “image” she truly is NOT. It looks like she also “tried to pull off” some CIARA moves, “once again” but it didn’t fly as usual. BEYONCE can dance but nothing like Ciara can.

DIVA is a sick song, The video is good, I love that it was in black and white, gives it an avant-garde edge to it. However, it does remind me of that mediocre Ciara video with T-Pain, the title is escaping my brain right now…..but I still like it.

HALO is a beautiful song, Michael Ealy is soooo FIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIINE, so that helps make the video even more appealing. Although some of the lighting effects were blinding my eyes, but it’s all good.

I still don’t fully grasp the comparisons to Rihanna. I could in the beginning, when Rihanna first came into the game, because DEF JAM was marketing her as a Beyonce jr. but once she switched up her style, those comparisons died.
